Is it possible to select an excel File from onedrive dynamically

Hi everyone,

I search far and wide for a way to modify an excel file created by flow 1 by flow 2 but I can't find any way to do it.

I explain what I try to achieve.

Basically, I’m using my flow 1 the fill a template Excel Sheet on my Onedrive with the answer gathered in Forms then create a copy of the template with name the ID of the person who creates it.

After the copy is made, I clean the template with delete row.

A second flow is triggered by another form which is needed to complete the copy above.

In the second form, it receives the ID of the previous form ( the second form can't be used without form 1 already used).

I can't find a way to dynamically select the file. (It loses all his table.)

There are the 2 flows (those flow use to keep the template modificated until second forms is run) but create problem if flow 1 is used 2 times in the time of flow 2.

Does anyone have any suggestion on this problem.

Maybe my thought is wrong and to fix my problem I should use Flow in another way.

Here another option I think I could use but don't know how to make it work.

FLOW 1

1. File the Template with the info from flow 1 .( if there multiple answers they just file other lines).

2. send a xlsx file with only the newly added row in an email.

FLOW 2

1. Complete that row with a key column (Update Row).

2. Send a CSV file with only that row by email.

3. Send an XLSX file to email ( may copy the file to have the user name and last name before sending it).

4. Remove that row. (Template only has unfinished flow 1 in it after.)

The problem with those I didn't find a way to only send one particular row by email it always send everything.

I am a bit confused of what you are trying to achieve here I can slightly understand that you are trying to create a new file based on an Existing Template and send this new file by email .. Is that correct?

If you can Explain your business Scenario rather than how you are trying to achieve it I might be able to provide you with the solution required.

Also below you can see this example where I am creating a new file from template without modifying the template itself I believe it might be part of your solution: Please follow steps below

1. Copy the Template file with a new name to your desired destination

2.  Use Get Tables on the path returned from Copy File

3.  Add Row as below

To explain quick, I need 2 form to complete our template and I don't want the folder with the template to growth.

The form is completed by 2 different persons and they don't have access to the previous answer.

An email is sent to the second person with the previous data gathered in the xlsx .

The second person complete another form which completes the template.

2 email is sent one with the filled XLSX to a person and the other one receives a CSV of those data to use it in a script .
