I am getting this error when I pass update data from canvas app to flow and try to update that using the HTTP trigger

 { "Name": "example value", "Favourite%20Thing": "example value", "Image": "example value" } In the Body of the PUT in the HTTP call, it looks like you are just sending the "Name" value.

You should have something like:

You may or may not need the quotes around the "Name" field. You will have to test it to see.

Part of the problem is solved and I am able to send the data and update the sheet. However, the problem is it is updating ALL of the data.

For example, right now I have 3 rows in my sheet and two columns Name & Position. When I update these values in power app canvas and pass it to the flow, the updated data appears but in the HTTP trigger when I wrote the code as you suggest it updated all of the values based on the last entry.

I updated every field but the last entry got added and replaced every value. Any ideas how to fix it?

Hi @Ameen1989 

Based on the documentation from sheet2api.com, the PUT command updates whole rows. The reason all of the rows are being set to the last row is because you are not filtering or limiting your update.

Do you have a Primary Key? A Primary Key is a column that identifies the row of data and does not change even though the other columns may change.

I am going to assume that "Position" is the Primary Key for your example.

On your HTTP PUT call, you would dynamically add "Position" and the "Position" value such as:

This would ensure that only the row where the "Position" matches is updated.

If both "Position" and "Name" can change and you don't want to add a Primary Key, then you may want to execute an HTTP DELETE command to sheet2api.com and then do an HTTP POST for adding a row.

Your solution turned out to be very simple. I was using the filter array and comparing the ID of the current and updated data but adding the query turned out to be a quick and easy fix requiring less steps
