Joining the each value of an array

Hi There,

I need some urgent help in joining the each value of an array and create a new array.

Example : 

Array of values 

[
{
    "Asset Name": "XXXX01",
    "ICMS BS Slu": "testing dev"
},
{
    "Asset Name": "XXXX02",
    "ICMS BS Slu": "testing prod"
},
{
    "Asset Name": "XXXX03",
    "ICMS BS Slu": "testing stage"
}
]

Expected array :

{
    "Asset Name": "XXXX01 | XXXX02 | XXXX03",
    "ICMS BS Slu": "testing dev | testing prod | testing stage"
}

You can achieve as below

1 - Use Select Operation to get each column. 

2 - Use join expression to combine all different values with a delimiter , in this case |

3 - Repeat in parallel branch for all columns (in this case 2 columns)

4 - Add a Compose action at end of parallel branch to combine and receive the final output

Hi RK

You can transform the input array with the help of an expression using json, xml & xpath functions.

Here, I have stored the input array in a compose action:

Now, add another compose action that will store the required output array. Here fx expression is being used to get the desired result. Expression needs to be entered in the expression box as highlighted below in the screenshot:

Expression used in the above screeshot:

json(concat('{"Asset Name":"',join(xpath(xml(json(concat('{"Root":{"Item":',outputs('Compose'),'}}'))),'//Asset_x0020_Name/text()'),' | '),'",','"ICMS BS Slu":"',join(xpath(xml(json(concat('{"Root":{"Item":',outputs('Compose'),'}}'))),'//ICMS_x0020_BS_x0020_Slu/text()'),' | '),'"}'))

Note: Pls replace outputs('Compose') with the actual variable in the above expression.

The output of compose 2 action will give you the desired array.

This is solution does not help because my array length is not limited it can increase or decrease.
