Limit Columns by View in Get Items doesn't work

I've built a simple flow that uses the Get Items action to get items from a SharePoint list, creates and HTML table, and emails it to a user. The flow works fine in so far as it correctly queries the SharePoint list and returns only the rows defined in the Filter Query and emails the result. The problem is, the HTML table includes ALL the columns of the list, including a dozen or so system columns such as "IsFolder", "Path", "HasAttachments" etc. I've tried using the "Limit Columns by View" setting on the Get Items action, picking a custom view -- which I created in the SharePoint list that displays only the five columns I want -- but it is ignored.

I've scoured the web for an hour but have come up with nothing. (can I be the ONLY one using the "Limit Columns by View" feature??)

Any help would be appreciated.

The limit columns by view will only limit the regular columns.  The system columns will still be included in the Get Items and there is no way to change that.  However, you can use a Data Operations Select statement to filter the array returned by Get Items to only the specific columns that you want to include.  Just add the output of the Get items to the From in the Select statement and then provide keys (Column names) and insert the column values.  The output will be an array that only includes the columns you want.

So in order for "Update Item" to work with a view you have to first use a "Get Item" with that view.

I did that and it worked.  I wish those required fields wouldn't show up though.  This is an update not an insert.  Those fields should already be populated so I see no need to reference them.

Unfortunately, the way the connector is written required fields need to be included for all actions.  It doesn't matter whether its an update or create.
