Links not sending correctly to flow bot or email

I have several power automate tasks which post to the teams flow bot with links and other information from a sharepoint document library. As of about 3 days ago, the link markdown isn’t working correctly and also a further automate which formats a daily email with a summary of documents and links created is also stopping the link at the first space in the address.

It’s been quite annoying trying to troubleshoot this and I did wonder if it was a system wide problem. For the summary email, I am getting my links from a sharepoint list and they are being created properly there so it’s just the automation part of my workflow that’s causing this problem.

The two specific parts of the flow’s that are causing the problem are the post a message as the flow bot to a user and create an HTML table. Screenshots below. These both worked fine until Monday of this week (25th January)

Hello everybody!
I was experiencing the same issue last week, but it seems it has been corrected during this weekend and links are again working.
Can you please confirm it's working in all scenarios so I can stop asking to open a case with MS in my corporation?
Thanks!

I discovered the same problem today with an adaptive card that uses the [linktext](linktoitem) format.. The source of the issue is that the "link" property from get item(s) now is formatted with spaces instead of %20.

Previously it was like this

"{Link}": "https://tenant.sharepoint.com/sites/it/zzzzz/zzz%20-%20zzzzz%20-%20zzzzz.docx?d=wc41270f9967f4103adebd006ecc6e4e3"

Now it's like this:

"{Link}": "https://tenant.sharepoint.com/sites/it/zzzzz/zzz - zzzzz - zzzzz.docx?d=wc41270f9967f4103adebd006ecc6e4e3"

This causes my adaptive card to display the actual "[linktext](linktoitem)" text. I tested it in the the designer and got the same issue.

No idea about solution so far. It did not help to add quotes (") around the link.

I've managed to work around the problem of the flow bot message by adding a compose step to replace the spaces with %20. This seems to get the links working now. The other issue of creating the HTML table and sending an email is still broken

replace(triggerOutputs()?['body/{Link}'],' ','%20')

OK have managed to also format the HTML table to get the links to work. I used the following code:

concat('<a href=',replace(item()?['Link'],' ','%20'),'>Link</a>')

This is now creating a table with working links

Great! Annoying having to use replace like that all over the place.

I wonder if this is a temporary issue or a permanent change.

I just gave it a go, and can confirm that the behaviour has changed back to how it was originaly.

Thanks for posting. I'm going to keep the amendments I've made to my flows just in case but it's good to know this was temporary

Links are not working no. Not in the newest update. I cannot do markdown for teams, cannot do HTML, and when you insert a link it does not allow dynamic content to be added to the link
