List all users recently added

Hi,

I want to know if there is a methode (with automate) to list all recently synced users to an Azure ad group?

We are rolling out users in batches and I want to send a survey to newly added users to that group. The group get a E3 license (maybe that can be used as a trigger?).

I haven't found a trigger that can do that in automate or something on the internet.

If there are no triggers for it maybe we can schedule a flow and get newly added users to a certain group.

Help would be very appreciated!

You can use Microsoft graph API, for example you want to get users created on last 7 days then below is the example

https://graph.windows.net/<myorganization>/users?api-version=1.6&$filter=whenCreated gt 2020-01-01T00:00:00Z

Basically get an azure ad app with access to perform graph api

in power automate create instant flow, http request - get action and use above url

You can use below graph API, to get users recently added to security group in last 7 days
https://graph.microsoft.com/v1.0/groups/{group-id}/members?$filter=createdDateTime gt 2020-01-01T00:00:00Z

@Soundharya  thanks for the update. Both queries return nothing for me:

The group one returns the members when I remove the filter, the other one doesnt return anything.

p.s my date notation is 2023-02-08T13:43:11Z.

Yes this will hep you, create  a flow with trigger when user is added to group, next action send email with survey link

I have one issue left, I got the question to check recently added users as well.

I tried your solution, with token auth and active with active directory oauth but both give me the below error:

When I try the same http get with another uri it works like this one:

These are the api permissions for graph, should be sufficient right?

Try to use the non-premium action "Send an http request" from "Office 365 Groups" connector.

I get another kind of error with that methode. Still don't know what api permissions is needed for the http get. I have a license for the premium connector.
