List rows present in a table filtering

Hi all

I have a flow that is obtaining all the rows listed in a table.

However I would like to filter the returned results, so filter the query on a column within the table. The column I would like to filter is named ‘Type of Install’ and I would like to filter it when the value is equal to x. 
Within the filter query I have tried different option but none work Type of Install eq ‘x’, Type_of_Install eq ‘x’ and TypeofInstall eq ‘x’ but none of them work.

Can anyone shed any light on this as it’s causing a headache?

What is the Datasource / Connector your using?

I agree with the solution in the blog post by @Jcook 

As an alternative, you might remove the spaces from the column name or use a _ instead of a space.

If you did remove the space, the query would look like this:

TypeOfInstall eq 'X'

@Jcook Yes its excel, and as per your blog suggests the data comes from a third party therefore unable to change the received set up of the column naming convention.

I took a look at your blog which makes sense however it looks like you are using dynamic content from the output of list rows present in a table, is that correct as I am not getting dynamic content from that action. If not how did you obtain the value in the select action?

What does your flow look like? You don’t need to use both actions.

you can use filter array to achieve your needs.

@Jcook Ok in the meantime I had removed the select action as I noticed also it wasn't really relevant as I need all columns.  So now I just have the filter action but again cant get it to filter correctly, this could be how the filter has been set as the flow is running but I'm gaining no outcome from the filter when there definitely should be an outcome?

@Jcook I seem to have fixed my issue, it went in the advanced mode and entered @equals(item()?['Type of Install'], 'External') which after some trial and error worked

Hello,

i want do filter an Excellist with about 500 rows, with Value is eq to 'n' or 'i'. But there are also empty Cells or Cells with Dates. So then i get an error. Any Idea how to fix that.

I am using  'List rows present in table'.

Please Help
