Making plain text file from array via string - not all lines outputted

Hello Community 🙂

I have an array with data.

With use of Apply to each I'm composing, based on array row, string that will be a row in output text file.

I'm merging those string rows in one variable - string.

Problem is that the output is a lot smaller than I would expect.

Array - 4816 rows

Output - 546 rows but it should be 4816

Do I have incorrect approach to this task ? The idea is to create plain text file with the same number of rows.

You can stringify an object or an array. Maybe that's already enough?  Can you post a couple sample records and show the expected outcome?

I think this is what you're after which will also be really quick (should complete in a few seconds even with ~5000 items).

See full flow below. I'll go into each of the actions.

Compose contains your array of objects. I've just used a sample set of properties/values.

Select uses the output from Compose and the following expression to join your value together.

concat('1207', item()?['ISIN'], item()?['PRICE_D'], item()?['PRICE_F'])

Join uses the output from Select and the following expression to map by carriage return and new line (you may only want one of these - up to you.

//Note that %0D is carriage return and %0A is new line.

decodeUriComponent('%0D%0A')

The final output would look like the following.

Where to learn this stuff ? In VBA I could code this in 2 minutes, here you have to know how to put together everything. Is there any book covering building flows with use of functions ? 🙂

I tend to watch a lot of YouTube videos and google searches, plus build a lot of flows for work. However, most of what I've learned is reading through these forums and seeing how people have built flows to solve different problems, etc.
