I have created a 'Test List' in SharePoint and have created a Flow to trigger when an item is created or modified. My goal is to capture the values of the multi-select choice field, but the dynamic content never shows the checkbox field 'Fruit'.
In my sample list called 'Test List' I am trying to grab the values of the column 'Fruit' and put them into an array that I can use to iterate through using an 'Apply to Each' action, but the problem I am finding is that inside Flow it never lists my column 'Fruit' so that I can use it. Not sure if I've done something wrong or that I just need to expose the data using expressions or something.
Thanks in advance for any help.

Hi
could you paste the output of the trigger to see which fields you retrieve?
Did you create the Fruit column after you created the flow? If so, you might just need to save the flow, close it, and reopen it to get the new list schema that would include the Fruit column.
Or it might already be in the schema, but you missed it due to the internal name of the Fruit column not being what you expect. Can you check in SharePoint what the internal name of your Fruit column is? List Settings > click on the Fruit Column - should see the internal name within the URL.
Hi @adove
I have a video tutorial based on this.

Learn more from my blogHi @adove,
Please confirm the dynamic value that you selected should be fruit value or not.
I have created sample for you.

Please share the flow screenshot and clarify more on requirement If I misunderstood the requirement.

The result I am getting in strange. I expect to see the multi-value field or at least the "value" of that field. I am not getting the field at all.
I have refreshed the flow. I have logged out of the flow and came back in to ensure that I am seeing the freshest content. The internal name of the column is indeed "fruit". I have created new choice fields that have single-values and the flow recognized them. I then created a different choice field with multi-values and the flow does NOT recognize it. I feel that there is a simple answer, but I am overlooking something...I can see from the examples from "Amit_Sharma" and "abm" that they are successful. I am obviously missing something. Ugh.
Can you add the body from your trigger into a Compose then run the flow and look at the output from the Compose to see if it includes your fruit column (might have a different name you weren't expecting).
@grantjenkins, that is a great suggestion.
I did just what you asked. I ran a test and the 'Fruit' column does NOT come back at all.
It is not like it comes back 'empty' with no values...it is NOT returned at all.
This seems to be a limitation of SharePoint 2013. I created a new test list on SharePoint 2019 and it works just fine.
@adove I'm not sure it's just related to SharePoint 2013. We've also seen this in our SharePoint Online tenant and currently working with Microsoft on the issue. Will let you know how we go.
Just a quick question - in your Get item action have you set Limit Columns by View?
Hello @abm thanks for the tutorial. I tried it but i'm stuck with this. It's different from how it looks in the tutorial. By the way after this step I have > List rows present in a table in Excel. My issue is I was able to do it for other column values except for one column with multi choice.
@Sharinah1 I'd suggest posting a new question including what you're trying to do (the more info you can provide, the better we can help). I'd also suggest including the link to the tutorial in your post.
