Multiple Trigger Conditions

Hi all, I'm trying to create a Flow with Multiple Trigger Conditions. My goal is to send SharePoint files as attachment at 11AM every day automatically. I found this,

https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoft-365/community/power-automate-send-sharepoint-files-as-at...

but this only executes manually from the SharePoint UI which is fine but also need the automation. I looked at using Multiple Trigger Conditions but I'm still a Noob! Not sure what syntax to use for time triggers. Any help would be appreciated!!

Thank you!

Just to educate, the things you are asking for aren't' trigger conditions, well the time one is, but you dont write it yourself, it just does it based on your configuration of a recurring schedule.

Time based recurring, its just in the .. how do I say.. lol "makeup" that they run on a schedule. There isn't a trigger for "for a selected file" So I have no idea what you mean. That is simply an attribute (file name/location etc) of the actions you want to do in your recurring flow.

Thats why I was asking to explain what the conditions are and to me, you asked for something, but are confused (being new) at what you were asking for. Thats why I wanted clarification.

If you want to send files at 11 AM, you use a Scheduled Flow and it automatically added a recurring trigger, which you can schedule for whatever Time intervals you want. If you want it 11 every day, then when you select recurring flow, it will ask you. Pick every day, 11 AM and done.

You won't use other conditions really because that one is time based and has no knowledge of files.

You would need to do this, as I assume the file will already be there, versus a completely different scenario, which is  "When a file is created"

1. Create a Scheduled Flow, set it to Daily at 11 AM

You did not mention if you wanted to skip Saturday and Sunday, so I selected Daily. If you want to skip the weekend (or any day of the week). Select week, then deselect the days

FLMike_2-1696601341623.png

2. As you said you want to attach the files as an attachments to an email and sent it.

-Now this is where it depends. Lets say you have a specific SharePoint folder, its all the files, or its files that have a certain extension.

Then what you do is different. So I need to understand more details about the files and their location structure

But for this example. Lets say its 2 files only and you now their names and their Path to get to them. Then we need to add 2 Action in a rw

-Add 1# - Get file content using path (because this is how we attach it to an email

-Add #2 - Get file content using path

Set the properties to the files.

3. Add a Send an email (V2) action

-Click Show Advanced Options

-You will see one Attachment slot, and an Add new item button. Click it and it will let you add another attachment.

-In the Attachment Content boxes, select either the Content from Get File Content #1 or #2

-Give your Attachments Names

-Fill in the Subject, Body, and the To. Since I have no idea where you get the email addresses from and its not mentioned, so I just hardcoded it for this example

 4. Click save and you are done

Hi @Daku97

So you want trigger conditions, but you didn't say what trigger you want to use. You also don't tell us what the conditions themselves are that you want and what they do.

So imagine you are me. How do you help yourself with what you typed in.

Hi Mike, the link shows one of the triggers, SharePoint "For a selected file", and the other was mentioned in the original post, Time, 11AM every day.

Thanks for reviewing.
