Need assistance - IF this then THAT statement with List string data

Hello!

I'm not sure if this is on the forum, but I need some help creating a flow with data from a SharePoint list.

What I want to do is this:

1. Person fills out a form online

2. Form data goes to SharePoint List (this is complete and is working)

3. If cell data on column X for a new entry is less than or equal to 50, then an email would be generated to the appropriate people to take action.

Basically, I want to be able to send an email to a manager automatically if a data integer that's submitted on a form for a specific field is equal to or less than the integer 50. The data that comes from the list is listed as a string data point, so I'm having problems getting the conditional item to pull the data point, and then sending out the email. if anybody could assist that would be greatly appreciated.

Are all these steps are in same flow or in different flow ?

Steps 1 and 2 are in the same flow. I tried to have 3 in the same one as well, but I was running into the string data point issue. I thought if I made an additional flow separate from that one, where it pulled the data from the list generated, it wouldn't be a string data point but just an integer. But it looks like that was not the case.

If I could have 3 in the same flow as 1 and 2, that would be great. To just utilize the data point from the form itself to send out an individual email with that information would be great.

I think you can give a try in single flow. Since you already told that value you are comparing integer is coming from forms submission. Then  i would suggest this approach

Here for demo, i have used the below form

Now here i would be checking whether the field value Data has value <= 50, if yes bot would send an email. Here is how we did it in flow

Step 1: trigger for when form is submitted

Step 2: Get response details 

Step 3: Create Item in sharepoint list 

Step 4: use condition to check whether the data field from form has value less than or equal to 50.

Expression used was float(), the parameter inside float was Data field value dynamic content from form like below

If condition is True, yes branch, add an email 

If you are doing some calculation from sharepoint column on the value you are comparing, you can use Get Item and use Id of Create Item to pass as Identifier of Get item to get the item details after create item and then u can use condition for checking condition
