I’ve done the research tried all recommendations and nothing is working.
Here are my issues.
1. I have a workflow that sends an email with a PDF attachment of the completed Adobe web form content and its attachments when a web form is completed. The email sends, but the attachment can’t be previewed. The recipient has to use a web browser to open the file. I need the file to send as a PDF that can be previewed in Adobe Acrobat. I am using the classic editor.
2. My other workflow is supposed to create a list item in SharePoint with the form field data from the completed web form every time the web form is completely signed. It creates a list item, but all of the columns are blank. It is not properly grabbing the data from the form. The form outputs from the parse JSON action is correct, but it’s just not adding the data to the list. I am using the classic editor.
Solved! Go to Solution.
So here is how i fixed it. Hope this helps someone.
I recreated the flow from scratch in the new designer then I switched to the classic designer.
This seemed to resolve the issue of the quotations automatically getting added back.
I then added ".pdf" to the name of the file and wrapped the entire file name in parentheses. Problem solved!
See image.
For anyone who needs it, here is the coding for the expressions that I used to link the data from the agreement to the SP list using the "Create Item" action.
In the example below, the name of the field from the adobe agreement is "Vendor Name".
outputs('Get_form_field_data_of_agreement_in_JSON_format')?['body/formDataList/Vendor Name']
Hope this helps someone.
@stov1a You need to remove the quotes around the File Content.
Regarding the data not going into your SP List, can you use a single Compose action to output one of the Parse JSON dynamic content values—and run a test?

I’m not going to cover how to get the values from your form since I've already covered that in a different tutorial.

Thanks, I tried that, but when I save the change and then go back to it the quotations are automatically added back.

@stov1a Hmm that's odd. Have you tried to delete the Send an Email (V2) action and add a new one back in? If that doesn't work, did you start editing your flow in the New Designer before switching to the Classic Designer?
If so, I would recommend creating a brand new flow and switching to the Classic Designer first before you start editing. The New Designer still has bugs. Sometimes creating a brand new flow can help.

Still having issues with the create item workflow. Blank list item. Here is the entire flow. Any idea what I'm doing wrong?
Is the JSON schema wrong? Does it need to include each field?

@AmieRobbo You are using the incorrect dynamic content for the ContentBytes. After you've created the file in OneDrive, you are missing the Get Contents action, the dynamic content used for the Content Bytes is incorrect.
Also, for the SP File, you should be using the File Content dynamic content.
Thankyou so much for replying.
I am very new to all of this, is it possible to step through this with me? Which Get Content action do i use?
Do I then replace the first contentbytes with the above?
@AmieRobbo It depends on where the file is stored. If your file is on OneDrive, use the Get file content or Get file content using path actions for OneDrive. If your file is on SharePoint, use the Get file content or Get file content using path actions for SharePoint.
Hi again.
Can you please tell me where it belongs in my flow?
I am very lost on how to fix. Am I putting the Get file content (file is saved on the sharepoint) here as shown? as i already have it prior to the send an email.
