Notification when a file is uploaded to OneDrive

Hi, 

I found out it is quite easy to receive a notification when someone uploads a file to OneDrive. However, I would like to create a flow when I upload a file someone else to receive the notification. 

For example, I have 200 subfolders and 200 users. I upload a file for each user in their designated folder. Once I upload the file the particular user receives a notification. 

Any ideas will be appreciated.

Hi @PM11  you have and structure like

1 Folder - User 1

2 Folder - User 2

3 Folder - User 3

Or 1 FOlder could cotains 1,2,3 Users? You need to notify all?

Hi @ChristianAbata, Thank you for your support. Basically, each user has its own folder. The user uploads files to Folder A. The files are extracted, I do my work and then create a new file that is uploaded to Folder B. Every user has his own Folder B as well. I would like to have a flow when I upload to Folder B the user to receive a notification to his email. Summary: Each user has one designated folder, and I will upload a file to this designated folder on monhtly basis, and he has to receive a notification on monthly basis when the file is uploaded. The users are independent from each other. I upload different file at different time and cannot notify all of the together.

@PM11 ,  create an application (not a flow) that sends a notification each time you're uploading a file.

Would you please point me to an article where creating the app is explained.

There is no ready to use application, sorry. I've just tried to tell you that it might be you do not need to use a flow at all, but rather create a tool/app that combines uploading a file and sending a notification.

hi @PM11 this could be more operative process becouse you need to create a flow per folder to send the notify per user.

See the example, needs a specific folder
