I had for a few months been using quite successfully a Flow to link my Outlook to my Google Calendar. The flow was designed ONLY to push all events and data from Outlook calendar to Google calendar but not in the opposite direction. (My Outlook calendar is visible to my colleagues and I do not want them to see all my personal appointments, but do need to be able to see my work appointments on my personal calendar to avoid clashes). The flow was designed to not only update Google Calendar when there were new Outlook events, but also to update if the Outlook events moved time or place and to run at a regular interval so that my Google calendar always contained the most up to date Outlook data. For some reason, last week, this flow abruptly broke, and I got an email from Flow asking me to check into it. The record showed that it was failing not on the Outlook side but at the final stage where the upload to Google calendar should be taking place. But while trying to edit this flow, I accidentally deleted it 😞 And I have not been able to find in the existing templates whatever it was I was using before to recreate it, as there seem to be flows for creating new events and flows for updating existing events, but not a script that does both for a complete sync. Has there been some major change I am unaware of? There do seem to be templates that run this in the opposite direction, from Google to Outlook, but this doesn't help me.
Any ideas?

Thanks Barry! This looks like it was exactly the Flow I had which stopped working. I will try to use the zip file to bring it back. Do you know how exactly I import a flow from a file? I am not very technologically savvy...

Hi, I've been using a similar flow ("Sync changes including adding, updating and deleting from Office 365 Calendar to Google Calendar.") for many months but have in the past few months received notifications of failed flows, always failing at the very last step, "Create events in Google calendar". It doesn't give me any option to "fix" it - please help!
It doesn't give me an option to select anything for "content conversion" when I click on that and as a result I cant updload the flow. What do I select?

I am quickly loosing faith that MS can run this type of platform as things go missing/depreciated far too often.
This is to simplify your time and speed up your productivity I can see a time where the only work getting done is reinventing the automation we already had working and MS changed the game.
After trying for months to get this to work correctly, I've come to the conclusion that Microsoft is not serious about making anything with Google work properly. I've decided to eliminate as many Microsoft products as possible from my PC as a result.
My Microsoft calendar regularly loses sync with Google, and when it does I lose whatever I was working on. I believe it's the Microsoft app that sucks.

We invite you to participate in a quest to provide solutions to as many questions as you can. Answers can be provided in all the communities. Entry Period: This Challenge will consist of four weekly Entry Periods as follows (each an “Entry Period”) - 12:00 a.m. PT on June 17, 2024 – 11:59 p.m. PT on June 23, 2024 - 12:00 a.m. PT on June 24, 2024 – 11:59 p.m. PT on June 30, 2024 - 12:00 a.m. PT on July 1, 2024 – 11:59 p.m. PT on July 7, 2024 - 12:00 a.m. PT on July 8, 2024 – 11:59 p.m. PT on July 14, 2024 Entries will be eligible for the Entry Period in which they are received and will not carryover to subsequent weekly entry periods.
