I am having difficulties to parse data from table below. I have used flow that was created by @Django
https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/Building-Flows/extract-the-content-from-table-in-email-to-sharep...
Only issue is in the fact that flow is parsing only data from the first column (Invoice Number).
Any thoughts ? Thank you

Hi,
Here is how it is done: https://ibb.co/yFRt66Y
Flow definition is on the left, run history is on the right. You see it ends with a nice JSON array containing all the invoice details from the invoice.
The code for the append to array variable step is:
{
"Invoice Number": @{trim(body('Remove_Blank_Lines')[0])},
"Invoice Date": @{trim(body('Remove_Blank_Lines')[1])},
"Invoice Description": @{trim(body('Remove_Blank_Lines')[2])},
"Discount Taken": @{trim(body('Remove_Blank_Lines')[3])},
"Amount Paid": @{trim(body('Remove_Blank_Lines')[4])},
"Amount Remaining": @{if
(
equals(length(body('Remove_Blank_Lines')),6),
trim(body('Remove_Blank_Lines')[5]),
''
) }
}
Because there is quite a lot to take in, it might be easier for you to be able to download the flow and import. You can download it here and import into your environment and modify as required:

Hi @Paulie78
When I try with the code below, split to rows does not seem to work to split each column to each row (instead I get a continuous line). can you advise what may be wrong?
<table><tr><td>Leave</td><td>Start Date</td><td>End Date</td><td>Day(s)</td><td>AM/PM</td><td>Balance Before</td><td>Balance After</td></tr><tr><td>ANNUAL LEAVE</td><td>07/05/2021</td><td>07/05/2021</td><td>1</td><td></td><td>19</td><td>18</td></tr></table>
Best Regards

sorry for innterupting
but I have an HTML table
I want to do a search and return a column and row name for a specific item, how could I do that in power automate desktop?
With the HTML from above as Compose action named "Data" there are just 2 further Compose actions required.
The first Compose action, named "Sanitize", modifies the HTML to conform to XML standards by removing the meta tags, the <br> and the nbsp;
Second Compose action named "Result" uses xpath to get the values.
Sanitize:
replace(
replace(
replace(
outputs('Data'),
'<meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8"><meta content="text/html; charset=us-ascii"><meta name="Generator" content="Microsoft Word 15 (filtered medium)">',
''
),
'<br>',
'<br />'
),
' ',
' '
)
Result:
{"headers": @{xpath(
xml(outputs('Sanitize')),
'//tr/td/p/u/text()'
)}, "values": @{xpath(
xml(outputs('Sanitize')),
'//tr/td/p/text()'
)}}
Output:

This certainly can be improved e.g. by returning a proper array of objects and other things, but this is only to show how easy HTML parsing is, if (and only if) the HTML isn't too obscure.
It has been a while since you made this but it saved me today. Thanks!
Good to hear old solutions are still effective!
Since this old thread is getting attention, I'll show what I think is the easiest way (as long as the HTML isn't too bad).
It's just a Select action with just a few lines of not-too-difficult-to-understand expressions:
HtmlTable is a Compose with the HTML from above

In the Select's From I grab only the table HTML and convert it via XML to JSON.
From this JSON I take the 'tr' array and skip the first item (the table headlines)
skip(
json(
xml(
slice(
outputs('HtmlTable'),
indexOf(outputs('HtmlTable'), '<table'),
add(indexOf(outputs('HtmlTable'), '</table>'), 8)
)
)
)['table/tbody']['tr'],
1
)
Each property in the Map takes its according item (here [0] to [5]) from the 'td' array and gets its text property (if exists):
item()['td'][0]?['p']?['#text']

You must enter into each weekly Entry Period separately. How to Enter: We invite you to participate in a quest to provide "Accepted Solutions" to as many questions as you can. Answers can be provided in all the communities. Users must provide a solution which can be an “Accepted Solution” in the Forums in all of the communities and there are no limits to the number of “Accepted Solutions” that a member can provide for entries in this challenge, but each entry must be substantially unique and different. Winner Selection and Prizes: At the end of each week, we will list the top ten (10) Community users which will consist of: 5 Community Members & 5 Super Users and they will advance to the final drawing. We will post each week in the News & Announcements the top 10 Solution providers. At the end of the challenge, we will add all of the top 10 weekly names and enter them into a random drawing. Then we will randomly select ten (10) winners (5 Community Members & 5 Super Users) from among all eligible entrants received across all weekly Entry Periods to receive the prize listed below. If a winner declines, we will draw again at random for the next winner. A user will only be able to win once overall. If they are drawn multiple times, another user will be drawn at random. Individuals will be contacted before the announcement with the opportunity to claim or deny the prize. Once all of the winners have been notified, we will post in the News & Announcements of each community with the list of winners. Each winner will receive one (1) Pass to the Power Platform Conference in Las Vegas, Sep. 18-20, 2024 ($1800 value). NOTE: Prize is for conference attendance only and any other costs such as airfare, lodging, transportation, and food are the sole responsibility of the winner. Tickets are not transferable to any other party or to next year’s event. ** PLEASE SEE THE ATTACHED RULES for this CHALLENGE** Week 1 Results: Congratulations to the Week 1 qualifiers, you are being entered in the random drawing that will take place at the end of the challenge.
