Hi,

My Get the manager connector is failing with this error message:

Parsing OData Select and Expand failed: Term 'JoesoaP@bubbles.co.za' is not valid in a $select or $expand expression.

I plugged the 'User Principal Name' into "Get manager (V2)" from the "Get user profile (V2)" action.

Have I done it incorrectly? Please help! thank you.

Can you try removing the Mail value you are passing to the select fields?

if you want to pass values to the Select Fields you need to use comma separated field names in your case just try to put mail

Hi @Mira_Ghaly ,

I'm using the get the manager in its most basic form for an approval workflow. 

I don't even know what the 'Select Fields' does and how to use it. I did read up on the Office 365 users microsoft documentation but didn't get clarity on this matter.

Can you send me some resources to learn more about this and how to use it?

I'm having the same issue, the workflow worked when testing but now has the same error you were having.

Hi @ClaireAllen ,

I can't even remember to be honest so I read through Mira's solution above and seem to recall that the 'selected fields' field in the get the manager connector should be empty.

It solved my problem.

I hope it gets resolved.
