Populate a word template with pictures

Hello,

I am trying to build a flow that can read 4 images from a folder in onedrive and populate the images in a word format.

I was able to successfully retrieve the 4 files in the folder:

The next step is more complex, since I have 4 image fields  In my word template that I need to populate in each of the images I was able to retrieve in the previous step.

Anyone have an idea?

Hi @alexyyoud,

You could initialize an array variable to store these file content, then use index to get file content and append into the Word template:

variables('FilesContentArray')[0]
variables('FilesContentArray')[1]
variables('FilesContentArray')[2]
variables('FilesContentArray')[3]

Hello,

Thank you for your explaim. I get an error flow message in Append_to_array_variable' field:

".......of type 'Array' cannot be appended to the variable 'AttachmentsVariable' of type 'Array'. The action type 'AppendToArrayVariable' only supports values of types 'Float, Integer, String, Boolean, Object'."

Why ? It's illogical. I used Array

Hello, I appreciate the explanation. It appears that the Poulate template has a 10MB limit, even though I must include 76 photos in it. Is it possible to use this template and include 76 small-sized photos in it? I can't find a solution for this, please help. thank you

Hi, is there a way to populate a template with images when you don't know in advance how many images there would be in your array? For example first time I run the flow there are 4 images and the second time there are 5?

It looks like there is no way to use a Word template and exceed 10MB, I haven't completed my flow yet but I am using HTML and then converting it to PDF instead

Isn’t there a size limit for the images using html as well? 
Anyway, would you please share your solution/flow if you get it to work?

It's working but unfortunately, I exceeded over 500 actions. this is my solution below. first, I created initialize variable and then set the variable to take the image. The value will then be added to HTML as the image below. 

Now, as my flow exceeded 500 actions, I need a way to create an initialize variable for more than 60 initialize variables to reduce the actions; they all have to have the same value and type, but different names. Is it possible for me to have a single initialize variable that would cover all names?
