PowerAutomate Convert file with path HTML to PDF Error 400

I used powerautomate OneDrive function "Convert File with Path", but got error 400 'this file couldn't be converted into PDF' with warning 'Bad Request'.

HTML file was generated through PowerApps and stored in OneDrive successfully.

  1. I tried to convert from HTML into JPG, it was completed successfully, but the ways from HTML into PDF was failed.
  2. I checked file extension, but the extension ".pdf" was attached in the path correctly.

Can you please advise what is incorrect to set it. If I need to further info to post, please advise so.

@BhartenduP ,

Thank you for your support.

I tried to convert the simple & basic html file into PDF, it was completed successfully, so the matter might be caused by my html file which was generated by PowerApps with dynamic data.

I tried in several times one sentence by sentence, finally the simple steps passed, but it was caught on "Japanese Word" in table.

HTML itself is shown in browser correctly also with Japanese Words,,,,

Can you please if we can use multiple languages especially Japanese. If it can be used, how can I modify and set the file??

Thank you.

Dear ks4050kt

Thank you for writing to us . I had a look into the error message internally to check if we have had known issues around the behavior, However I don’t see any .

I would like to get some more understanding . Please share with me the following .

  1. Flow URL which is having the problem.
  2. Flow Id and the Tenant ID.
  3. Please reproduce the issue again and notice the timestamp on which the issue occurred . Please let me know about the same also please let me know the time zone in which the issue is reproduced as I can check backend logs.

I was also able to check this link  https://plumsail.com/docs/documents/v1.x/flow/how-tos/documents/convert-html-to-pdf.html . Maybe we can use the link as an alternative . Also i was able to locate this link https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/General-Power-Automate/html-to-pdf-conversion-issue/td-p/207088 which you can refer as it seems helpful . Please try and review the HTML file closely . I would request you to try with a very basic HTML file and see how is the behavior.

Please mark my answer as verified if you found it helpful. Please let me know if you have any other questions around the above.

Dear,

Thank you for the update, As we now understand the issue is directly related to the use of the Japanese language . I am afraid I am not aware of any limitations as of now . I will look to get some information around it however i am guessing that we will end up finding that there are imitations .

@BhartenduP

Thank you for your support, if you can notify when Japanese language can be used in this flow-action once, I appreciate it.

Currently I gave up to use Japanese language in this flow, but still it is required in my work, so I'm still looking forward to get further advice how to use Japanese language in PowerAutomate, thanks.
