Search for a particular folder and Copy files to another folder

Hello Everyone,

I have created a flow for folder automation, in which I am giving input(folder name) through power apps and it is creating folders with that particular name. Now what I want to do is, I want to search for a folder in my document library whose name is same as my input in Power Apps , and want to copy files from that folder to new created folder 

SP library 1(Data)

112463

145636

112233

Folders created through Power apps input

112233, Now I want files from SP library 1 > 112233, to be copied to 112233(newly created)

So basically it will search for that particular folder in that document library and copy the files to this folder. Please help if you can.

Hi @suyog26 ,

Do you want to do this in a same library? If yes, this cannot be done since we cannot create two floders with same name inside a single library.

If the new created folder is in another library, you can try flow like this.

1. Create a folder in library1 using the input from your app(I just tested this using a variable). Then get all files content in your source library folder which has a same folder name(library2).

2. Copy file to library1/XXX(we need to use "identifier" property from "get files(properties only)" action to find a specified file):

Thank you for responding to me.

I do not want to create 2 folders I have a data pool in which there are folders with different names. I will create folder from PowerApps which will have one of the same name from my data pool.

I want to fetch files from that particular folder to my newly created folder.

Data Pool Folders(3 folders)

123456

445566

778899 

Folder created from PowerApps

123456

Then My flow will search folder 123456 in my data pool and will copy all the files in my newly created folder.

And the folder name should be like this:

/libraryname/ParameterFromPowerApps
