I have a flow that is looking at a form for a value of yes or no.
I looked for other articles that all point to using the edit in advanced mode
Now that the edit in advanced mode is gone how do I get it to look at yes or no?
If Yes then I want to post a card in Teams
If No then do nothing.
Thanks
Hi @Crawfie13 ,
Could you post a screenshot of your flow please?
Thanks
If you liked my response, please consider giving it a thumbs up
Proud to be a Flownaut!
Learn more from my blogI have created 2 flows
1. Is looking for a blank field
The other is looking to see if the value is Yes in the form
Hi there. I haven't tried to replicate this, but I wonder if you can consolidate the two Flows with a Switch action?
Essentially, three paths based on the value of that field.
Let us know what you think.

Hi thanks for that.
I created both flows to do the same thing - I will only use one.
I either need the flow to look for a null value in the first flow or
the flow to look for a yes answer / value in the second flow.
Both flows work but always deafult to false even if the value in the first flow is not null and the check box in the second flow is Yes
I wonder if the Yes/No is being stored as 1/0 instead? I'm guessing you already looked at the output from previous steps? Can you post that portion?
Ok, I just tested this...It does weird stuff if you don't answer, it's just "Blank" vs. "Null". So what I did was add an expression that says "If this thing is empty, change the value to "Not Answered", otherwise pass through whatever the response was"
The expression text is:
Let us know if that helps.

Everything I found online and in this forum suggests
@equals(triggerBody()?['value'], 'true') fails
@equals(triggerBody()?['value'], true) works
But as I cant use the advacned editor in the Condition I don't know where to put it.
Will try this shortly and let you know.

Hi @Crawfie13 ,
From your description, the Yes/No field seems to be a Choice and only supports single selection.
Another question seems to be Text, please try to use the following configuration to achieve your needs.
If you are determining whether the Choice field is the expected value, you can directly configure the Option value to the right of the Condition.
If it is judged whether the Text field is empty, you could directly set the right side of the Condition to blank.
Hope it helps.
Best Regards,
I did try that at the start but regardless of the value (yes/No) it returned value of false, so did not work.

Hi again. This is vexxing. Can you post the output from the "Get Response Details" step? I'm curious to see what is going downstream from there.
Thanks!
the solution to this problem is to create an expression
Click on format data by examples
Select form field that contains Yes and no
entry example value Yes and desired output Yes and click on get expression
Copy the expression
Paste the expression in function bar
it will look like this
test and run
this solve my problem
hope this solution will helps you
Thanks Maninder, this seems to cause the answer to always return as true regardless of what option was actually selected.
I found my solution to be to check for a string:
@Crawfie13 I hope this helps
