Hello Community,
I'm building a flow that will notify one of our branch managers when any of their employees are out of the office between two date ranges, PTOStartDate and PTOEndDate. I'm using a SharePoint list to extract the PTO dates. I want the flow to notify the User with the PTO dates within the Start and End dates OR notify the User when there are no PTO dates. The flow is scheduled to run every Sunday morning. I had the first part of the flow working correctly, but when I added a Condition to include the second email notice the flow appears to be successful, but the email notice that should state there are no PTO dates is not generated. I'm not sure what should be in the Condition. I've searched the forum and tried multiple solutions and none have worked. Screenshots of my flow are included. I posted this question previously and now the original flow stopped working. Can anyone help me resolve this?

Are you trying to determine if PTO is within the week?
You can continue to use filter query, just judge whether the return value of get items is empty in the condition.

According to your description, does no PTO dates mean that PTOStartDate and PTOEndDate are empty?
You need the action Filter array instead of Filter query, because the items you filter out in Filter query do not include PTOStartDate and PTOEndDate and are empty.
You can use two Filter arrays in parallel, one is used to filter PTO within two variable times, and the other is used to filter PTOStartDate and PTOEndDate are empty.

Thank you for responding. Yes, if I understand your question correctly. I want a weekly email notice that provides PTO dates if the User is out that week and/or an email notice advising there are no Users out that week. Does that make sense. The original flow I created in December worked great until the end of January and stopped including any information. I have worst time building flows and getting them to work and/or work well. Can you walk me through the Filter query? I have not created a flow with Filter arrays or using the parallel parameters. A screenshot if my SharePoint list is included if that will help. If I use a Filter query do I keep the same parameters in the Get Items Filter Query? Thanks so much for your help!

We are excited to announce the Summer of Solutions Challenge! This challenge is kicking off on Monday, June 17th and will run for (4) weeks. The challenge is open to all Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Copilot Studio & Power Pages) community members. We invite you to participate in a quest to provide solutions to as many questions as you can. Answers can be provided in all the communities. Entry Period: This Challenge will consist of four weekly Entry Periods as follows (each an “Entry Period”) - 12:00 a.m. PT on June 17, 2024 – 11:59 p.m. PT on June 23, 2024 - 12:00 a.m. PT on June 24, 2024 – 11:59 p.m. PT on June 30, 2024 - 12:00 a.m. PT on July 1, 2024 – 11:59 p.m. PT on July 7, 2024 - 12:00 a.m. PT on July 8, 2024 – 11:59 p.m. PT on July 14, 2024 Entries will be eligible for the Entry Period in which they are received and will not carryover to subsequent weekly entry periods.
