I have a flow that uses the Send an email (V2) Outlook action. I don't want the email to come from my account (Account A). I need to send the email from a different account in my organization (Account B). I have tried many times to set its connection to authenticate with Account B, as I have done in other flows. I have also given Account A permission to "send as" Account B as a sort of safety net, since I can't get Power Automate to use one account consistently.
When I run the flow, if I try to use the "From (send as)" setting to send from Account B, I get an error that the flow doesn't have permission to send as that account. If I disable the "From (send as)" setting, the email sends from a different account entirely (Account C). Account C is used in a different flow, but it does not even appear in the "Connections in use" menu for this flow. Why is my flow randomly choosing different accounts to send the email from?

@v-alzhan-msft ...Yes, that's why I posted about it.
Regardless, I eventually exported the flow, disabled the old one, and imported the flow as new. The connections on the new one seem to work properly. A very opaque system and frustrating experience—MS needs to offer better management for existing connections.
Hello @dmol
Have a look at this thread: https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/Using-Flows/From-Send-As-in-Flow-keeps-reverting-to-my-business-...
It seems it could be a matter of time (you have to wait some time until it takes effect the send email on behalf another user).
Hope it helps!

It's already been several days since the changes were made. And as I said, even if I stop using the "From (send as)" field, the email gets sent from a different account (Account C) that isn't even associated with this flow. I think it may have something to do with the PowerApps trigger, but I'm not logged into Account C in PowerApps either.
Hi @dmol ,
What is the Connection account in your send an email action in the flow?

Hi @dmol ,
I mean the email would be sent from the connection account in the send an email action and you need to check it by yourself to see if the email is sending from the connection account.

@v-alzhan-msft Right, that's the problem I'm having. The emails are NOT coming from the connection account.
Hi @dmol ,
I don't think the email would sent from the other account instead of the connection account.
Best regards,
Alice

I am having similar issues.
I recently started to call Power Automate flows from Power Apps and it seems that this is a fraught endeavor. My current situation is that I am using Account A as the connection for Send Mail (v2) (we're a GCC tenant) within a flow being called by the Run command inside of a Power App app. When the flow runs however, the email is being sent from Account B. Account B is one of the connections i can use in my flow, but I am NOT using it, so not sure why flow is.
I've tried setting my Email From in the flow to be Account A, but then i get "send as" privilege errors, I think b/c it's saying Account B doesn't have send as privileges for Account A, even though, again, i'm NOT using Account B for my Send Mail step. I've also added another Send Email step, trying to use Account A again, and even that one uses Account B. I've also seen it where it seems to send from the account that you're using to run the Power Apps (i.e Account C, D, etc. - provided those accounts have a possible connection in the flow).
Anyway, this is super frustrating. Has anybody else dealt with this successfully?
