Send an email with user first name

Hi PA community,

I wonder if someone could assist me please? I have a flow that blocks videos being uploaded to SharePoint as w eare migrating to Stream. The block deletes an uploaded video based on file extension and then emails the uploader to advise them the video has been deleted and to contact support to use Stream. It all works fine, but the email is a bit formal as it uses the full name (First / Last) and I would like to use 'First name' in the body of the email. I am still very novice at this 🙂 so thought I would ask here. 

Here is the whole flow:

Compose - 

split(triggerBody()?['{FilenameWithExtension}'],'.')[1]

You could fill Created by Email in Get user profile action to get the first name of the user.

Thanks for the response, but I do not know how to do that. Could you possibly advise? I have looked under dynamic content and cannot see how to do that.

Thanks for the help and response. As part of the flow I am looking to send an email and then delete the file from Sharepoint. The previous flow I had worked by was to formal. I have made the changes :

But now I get an error :

And I am not sure how to rectify? I will try to resolve it but is there anything you would suggest? Again, thanks very much for your help.

Hi @PremierD ,

In each case branch, it seems that you need to add Get user profile action to get the Given name.

Just looking at the configuration of this branch, I'm afraid I can't rule out the error.
