Send email and configure "Send From"

Hi Everyone,

Currently my environment is using PowerApps and Microsoft Flow to Sending out the Email.

I tried below solution 

1)Using "Send and Email" action, get error "You are not authorized to send mail on behalf of the specified sending account."

2)Using "Send and Email from a shared mailbox" action, get error "Specified folder not found."

I know the above the error is because we need to give permission to send the mail on behalf of another user, but how we going to grand the whole organization to be able to access the Shared Mailbox?

3)Using "Send an email notification (V3)", the email will go to Junk Folder

Any workaround to resolve or overcome the issue?

Hi @chow0724 

Sending an email on behalf of a user is not supported and so a Shared Mailbox can be setup (but as you mentioned, all users will have to have access to that)

If it is just notifications, you might want to try the send email notification action that sends an email from a generic MS account. Else, you can setup a service account, create a flow that is triggered when an http request is received and then from the flow that is attached to powerapps, call this flow using the http action and pass the parameters as needed.

Hi @chow0724 ,

Don't you want to give permission for each user to send an email on behalf of the shared mailbox?

Do you want to grant permission for the group to the shared mailbox?

I have made a test on my side and couldn't grant permission for  the group to the shared mailbox, I'm afraid that there is no any way to achieve the requirement and I suggest that you could only give permission to users in the group one by one currently.
