Split email addresses from SharePoint list

I currently have a flow to populate an "Assigned to email" from a multiple choice people picker 'assigned to' column on SharePoint, where it separates them with a ; . in a separate flow, I want to grab those emails - removing duplicates - so I can send each user a powerapp notification separately and once only - through an apply each loop.  How do I go about doing this? I know I can utilise split(...) but I'm not sure how. 

I know with get items I could get the array via Assigned to Email rather than ref. my actual col 'assigned to email' but again, I'm not sure how to go about that.

Currently my flow is set up as recurrence then get items (from SP list) but from there I'm a little stuck.

The issue you may run into is that the people picker fields can sometimes send 'arrays' (or lists)...even if there is only one person selected.  And the Split function wants a 'string' so we made need some trickery along the way.

Are you only trying to do the split so you can remove duplicates?

Is the notification going to be the same across the board?  Meaning, if a user has multiple items on the SP list, you only want to send a single notification.  And then another user will get the same notification if they have items on the list, ya?

I wonder if we can just focus on that part...getting the list of everyone who has been assigned something, de-dupe the list, and then cycle through the list to send notifications?  If you go that route, you don't really need to split anything.

Sorry about the late reply, I got assigned to another task but I'm back on this now! 

I've managed to get the unique values of email addresses, (as people can be assigned to more than one thing due the same day, but i don't want them to get 50 notifications) but I need to break them out. It's so I can utilize the "Send push notification" with PowerApps - it's a little deceiving where it says "recipients" as you can only have one email in there, not several, even if they're split with a semi colon. 

Do you know how to break out emails so i get an individual value so i can use the outputs in the recipients?
