Trying to create Teams meeting but add a day to the start time and end date

I have a flow where I'm trying to send out a Team's meeting containing information from an Excel Sheet a day earlier than the Scheduled date has listed. My flow is grabbing rows from the Excel sheet where their scheduled date row is the day after the current day.

I also want my 'Create a Teams meeting' action to have a start time of my Meeting time variable, but tomorrow (so a day after whatever the current day is). When I enter in my time variables alone, formatted in hh:mm, they send an invite scheduled to start the same day, but I want the meeting start time to be tomorrow.

I have a formula in the Start Time that uses the formatted times I grabbed from the Excel sheet:

addDays(outputs('Compose_-_Format_Meeting_Times'),1,'hh:mm')

But this won't add a day. I think it's because my time value is in hh:mm format but when it's in it's full format it includes a date from 1899, probably because there's no date in that time column in the Excel sheet, there's a separate column for that.

My Format Meeting Times output:

My meeting time output before it's formatted to hh:mm

The last row is the row I'm getting in my query with the day, and the Release Time is the time I want these meetings to start, but just a day after the current day, since in this case I'm sending the invite out on 8-7.

I think this is happening because you have excluded the date component. Try using the format yyyy-MM-dd hh:mm

But my problem here is that these values are in two different columns. My scheduled date output comes from the value in my Scheduled date column and my release time comes from the input of the release time column. So they're two different values. I'm not sure how to combine these

Change the Datatype of column in excel to Text

Concatenate them in Power Automate and convert it back to Date.

I can build a sample if you need.

Once you reach the step below (from your screenshot), you can simply add 1 day and use that as your meeting StartTime

happyume_0-1691459965669.png

addDays(outputs('Compose_Split_Release_Time'),1)

You will have to change Compose name as per your Flow

Using the Get a Row Excel action you can set the DateTime Format to ISO 8601 under advanced options.

emguyant_0-1691510254138.png

This will provide the ScheduledDate and ReleaseTime (added an example row 8/9/2023 5:00 PM) as:

emguyant_1-1691510278736.png

Then using the following expression, you can subtract 1 day from the SecheduledDate:

addDays(formatDateTime(outputs('Get_a_row')?['body/ScheduledDate'],'yyyy-MM-dd'), -1)

Then using the following expressions, you can extract the Hours and Minutes from the ReleaseTime:

formatDateTime(outputs('Get_a_row')?['body/ReleaseTime'], 'HH')

formatDateTime(outputs('Get_a_row')?['body/ReleaseTime'], 'mm')

Lastly build the Start Time of the meeting

addMinutes( addHours( outputs('Scheduled_Date_-_1_Day'), int(outputs('Release_Time_-_Hours')) ), int(outputs('Release_Time_-_Minutes')) )

emguyant_2-1691510409404.png

In the Create a Teams meeting action you can then use an expression like the following to set an End time. The example would create an hour long meeting.

addHours(outputs('Start_Time'), 1)
