I was trying to create a flow which sends a daily digest from a website to my email. Since I'm new to this whole flow thing, I started by creating a flow using the CNN daily digest template, and I would edit it to the website I want.
I was able to change the RSS feed URL, but I can't edit a few fields. Look at the "Selecione uma saída de etapas anteriores" on "Compose the links for each blog post", and the "Body" on "Send an email".
I did some tests, and it seem to happen when I create a field using WDL,like in:
"@concat(...)"
But I'm not sure.
Hi Hartungstenio,
Do you want to edit the actions "Compose the links for each blog post" and “Send email”?
Please try to start this flow from blank then configure the flow with the same actions.
As I found that when using the Compose action in a flow, it will be not able to be edited once you saved it then back to edit it. So please try to create a similar flow from blank to see if it works.
Best regards,
Mabel Mao
Thanks for your reply.
I'm new to flow, and I have tried that. I was able to reach up to the "Compose links" loop with the compose action inside, but I don't know how the "Send email" action works. I can't see the whole action.
If I try to use any result from the compose action from inside the loop, it adds another loop.
Hi Hartungstenio,
Frequently, you will get a list of items returned by an action. For example, you could get a list of email attachments for new emails, or a list of search results from a search API. An apply to each loop makes it possible to control the list that you repeat over. So when you select a Dynamic content from the previous steps, an Apply to each content would be added.
Please see this blog for more information:

About the action “Send me an email notification”, I haven’t found any documentation on how it works. But what do you mean by “I cannot see the whole action”? I am not sure with this sentence.
Per my understanding, the email is sent by Server “Microsoft-HTTPAPI/2.0”. Please see the following information i:

What I mean by "I cannot see" is that the action's body displays only

Check out the latest news from CNN:

and nothing else. I think there should be more. I was trying to copy the action to my new flow, but I can't, because the rest of the body is missing.
I want to know how the "send email" action uses the result from the "Compose" action from inside the loop as a single result. How it concats the result? Is it just a concat function?
+1
How does the "send email" get the resuts from the previous Compose action as a single result. Now if You try to add own Send Email action, it changes it to be within "Apply to each" and politely says "Based on the output parameters you selected, we've added a for each container for you. For each enables you to perform actions for each individual item in a set of values."
That's not what I want, I'd like to get out the composed results and append them to body of the outboind email.
Any update on this? I'm in a similar situation, I want to tabluate the results from a list into the body of a single e-mail, yet every time I add the "Send e-mail" action, it repeats the action for every item in the list, resulting in an e-mail for every record with just the single record displayed in each e-mail.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
