Update Planner task if an existing SharePoint item is modified- Tasks arent connecting

Hello,

I am attempting to create a flow using the above "Update Planner Task if an existing SharePoint item is modified" but am having troubles getting the flow to work properly. Ive edited the flow a bit as I would like it to work within the project automation structure I already have in place. Ive added a "Get Item" Connector as a step so that I can automate Plan Id being brought in.. The Plan ID will already be in one of the columns of my share point Site. I then will use this for the next step of "list tasks" as a dynamic connector.

Apart from this I hadnt changed anything from the template... These are my columns in sharepoint site and planner and seem to be matching so im not sure what the problem is. 

When I try to run the flow it always fails at the condition part of the flow as it turns a result of "false" even though it should be true as I am changing the columns in the sharepoint list. 

For reference here is the output I get from the List Tasks step in this. I am not very familiar what any of this means. 

It does give more for the output but i figured this would be enough. Still learning this coding aspect and trying to identify errors so any help would be appreciated. Let me know if there is any questions or thoughts you have.

So you are trying to match the title of your tasks to your Title column in SharePoint. According to your screenshot, the row in your SharePoint list has a Title of Mitch SG TEST 1 which does not match any of your Planner tasks - Activation, Launch Date, and COGS, so the condition is going to state that it's false.

You need to change one of your tasks to be Mitch SG TEST 1 in order for it to return a true value and continue your flow process.

I want to match the corresponding column title to the task. For example when I update the "COGS" column in the sharepoint site, I want it to update the "COGS" task in the planner. I tried adding a task called Mitch SG TEST 1 like you said, which worked for the first one but the other columns that were updated failed.

The column names in SharePoint having the same name as the tasks won't connect them in any way.

I'm not sure what you are trying to achieve, but I would think the best way to go about this is to have a single task with the corresponding title from your SharePoint list, match them, and update all the details of that singular task. Here is how you would accomplish this:

Your condition will find the task that matches your Title column, then update the Due Date-Time with your Launch Date data and add your COGS text to the Description AKA Notes section of the task. Here are my results:

Note that this all hinges on the fact that your Title and task title will not be changed. If they are changed on either end, there will no longer be a connection until you match them back up again. Both of them must match at all times for this to work properly.
