Update and mainfo from secondary list and matchingto primary list.

Hi all I am trying to create a tracking system composes of Staff Training tracking list (2nd list) & HRM (1st list) which has each staff member details & training hours. I have built 2 SharePoint list. My goal is to when I updated a new training (or when the training status turns to ' done'), the training hours will be updated on the other list based on the attendees information from the Staff Training Log list (I set 'Search user' for the Attendees column). Please help !!!! Any advice or suggestions are greatly appreciated. Thank you so much.

According to your description, you want to update HRM list items according to Staff Training Log list when the item is modified in Staff Training Log list. If any misunderstanding, please kindly let me know.

I created a flow according to your description and it can update the items after Flow runs.

Please can refer to the following steps:

Flow in details

Expression1: div(sub(ticks(outputs('Get_item')?['body/Enddatetime']),ticks(outputs('Get_item')?['body/Startdatetime'])),36000000000)

Expression2: formatDateTime(outputs('Get_item')?['body/Startdatetime'],'yyyy-MM-dd')

Expression3: formatDateTime(outputs('Get_item')?['body/Enddatetime'],'yyyy-MM-dd')

Then save Flow and can test it.

When the Status be changed to Done

The HRM list will be update as below:

Thank you so much for your help !!! The flow has worked partially. It is able to identify and match attendees to the employees in HRM list. However, the number of hour is not updated correctly. Also, I didn't put in the Expression 2 & 3 as that column is for their employment (contract) start & end date, not the training start and end date. I am not sure if that's one of the reason why the flow cannot get the correct training hours? Also, it seems like the number of training hours in HRM list is not accumulated? Would it be possible to get the Hours in Staff training log to be accumulated in the relevant employee display name in the HRM list. (E.g If Employee A has been checked as Attendees for two 1-hour training in the Training log, the employee A profile in HRM list should show 2 hours in the Training hours column.

hi @v-LilyW-msft , Just wondering if you have been able to find out a way to make the training hours in one list accumulate in the 2nd list (HRM) ? Thank you so much :). Please help.
