Update item Action ID Correct?

I am trying to get a review of and confirmation that my 'Update item' action of my flow is constructed properly.

I am unsure of whether the 'ID' language (shown in action note) is correct.

Source: Excel Workbook
Destination: SharePoint List
Operation: Compare Source 'Person Number' to Destination 'Title'.
If the same update all meta data of the item(s) in the Destination.

Is there a Get items action configured in your flow? Show me the completed one.

The ID parameter from Update item action should be mapped to the Get items action.

Note that you need to map the ID from the Get items as below:

Here  is the 'Get items'.

When I try to use the 'ID' form the 'Get items' PA 
creates another 'Apply to each', then  (on one test)
changes all of the items to the same content.

Hi @Phineas,

Please do check my flow one more time, ID is from the Get items action instead of the List rows present in the table.

Further more, there is no necessary to use the Select to map the title field.

I don't think you have got the logic of this flow, you need to compare the Title with the Person Number from Excel table as below:

Check the above configuration, replace the Title from Excel with Person Number from your excel table, and for the condition, replace with your operator "is not equal to".

I think I finally got it.

Here is my flow.

My SP List was blank. All 596 items from the Excel workbook
were added to the SP List.

I'll have to wait until the next Excel workbook arrives with changes
to the existing items to confirm the 'Update item' action is working
properly.

How do I add a 'Delete item' to this flow?

The 'Delete item' should delete all items in the SP List where the content of
the SharePoint 'Title' column does not match the content of the 'Person Number' 
column in the last Excel workbook.
