Updating Process Logs table results in error Unable to retrieve attribute=ownerid for entityLogicalName=workflowlog...

I have created a Power Automate flow which I am running from a process flow in a model driven app. The final step of the Power Automate flow updates a table Process Logs. When I run the flow from the app as an administrator everything works fine. However when I run it as a normal user I get the error on the action to update the Process Log

I have created a Security Role for my users but I can't find the workflowlog or Process Loogs table to add permissions to.

There seems to be very little comment on the web about this.

The user requires read access to the System Jobs table in Dataverse for the status to change from Processing to Completed.

Hi @v-xiaochen-msft thanks for your response. Yes I did have a look at that and have given the security role read access to that I even widended the permissions hoping that might solve it but it didn't:

Hi @InTas ,

I did some testing and found that an admin connection is required to update the value.

So please open your flow and set 'Run only user' to 'use this connection(admin@company.com)'.

Besides, you don't need to share this flow with users. (you only need to set up the administrator's connection in above step)

Set 'Process' permission to organization.

Hi @InTas ,

I did some further testing and found that just setting 'process' and 'system job' to the organization level works for the user's connection to run the flow.

My role: Copy of basic user

Additional permissions I added for this role:

1\ Permissions on tables in model driven app

2\ Permissions of Bpf

3\ Permissions of 'process' and 'system job'

Finally, you don't need to share the flow with users, just set 'run only users' to 'provided by run only user'.

I followed the steps in your last post and that got it working. The big key for me was setting the Run only users for the Dataverse connection to Provided by run-only user. Thanks again!
