Use one form and add data to multiple Sharepoint lists

Good day,

May I please get help with the below query.

I have created a form for leave application and there is a choice question where the submitter should specify which business unit they belong to. I have also created 4 lists according to each business unit. I would like when a business unit on choice question is selected, data should go to its respective list when Approved/Rejected or even not yet approve but pending Approval/Rejection. All other questions are the same.

On the below I have tried adding the switch control and add all my list to cases but it does not seem to work.

Thanks in advanced

Can you click on one of the runs, and see what is happening on the Switch condition, is it going down one of the paths, or is it going down the default path.  If it is going down the default path, that means it is not recognizing the values int he switch condition to go to one of those branches.

There is a trailing space at the end of Head Office, remove the space and try again

Hi @pat104 ,

This looks like you have a space in your selection, you can remove it manually or with tirm().

"HO" isn't the same as "Head Office", therefore it will skip that case.

Try building a small Testflow to test different methods either in your existing Flow or a new one. Use the "Terminate" action to stop the Flow from completing midway so that no emails will be sent during testing. The "Compose" action in front and after certain actions can help visualize the input and output data if needed.

What error do you get when the flow runs ?

No Error, the flow just runs successfully

Good day,

May I please get advise on the below query.

I have different lists created and would like to create a flow whereby it can send response when a column is status is changed. In this case I have a couple of lists with similar data and would like to created one flow connecting all my lists to send response when a specific column in any of my lists is modified and loop on all this list.

For an example, the below cloud automated flow would work but I can add only one list. Is there another connection I can use?

Your advise will highly appreciated.

Thanks

Hi @v-dezhili-msft

I have removed the space on the form as well as using the trim expression. The space on select is now removed but the flow seems to be skipping the switch condition, please see below indicated.
