Using Excel Rows to Create Task

I have an excel file that I update everyday with new data and then discuss that data with my team 2 days later.

I want to create an automation that triggers when 2 cells in a row are changed to a specific text ("follow up" in one cell and "Michael" for example) in that meeting, and a task in planner is created with all the details from that row in excel.

I tried a few ways but since automate only has one trigger function for excel, I was unable to create this flow.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Yes like you mentioned Excel only have one trigger for Power Automate. Instead of Excel you may need to look into SharePoint or Dataverse. Another option is use a scheduled trigger and read all the excel rows at a specified time interval.

Yeah I was thinking of making it so that the automation runs once every night, but in that case, how would I make it so that it only reads the newly added rows and doesn't read the old rows and makes duplicate tasks in planner?

Hi @SyedRizvi 

You need a new flag (Boolean) in that excel file to identify whether is processed or not? One its read the update the excel sheet to Yes against the record.
