What power automate do I use to notify me when a document is modified in Teams?

I've spent about an hour on this and don't have anymore time to mess with it. I have a private MS Team used by just me. We have a spreadsheet in another Team that will be modified by our managers. I want an post to my private Team added when the spreadsheet is modified. I'm clicking the dots for the spreadsheet to add a flow and selecting to post a message MS Teams for a selected file but it's not working. I don't want another email telling me that something has been updated.

I do not. This forum is different than the other MS community. Not quite sure what I need to do.

Apologies for the confusion. I was referring to Teams Personal channel.

Gotcha. I have created a personal team and a couple personal channels that are just for me. I have seen a flow that can have notifications appear on a personal team but can't figure it out.

So you would like to send a message to a personal channel in the teams? Are you not able to see personal channel listed ?

I can see my personal channel. I just don't know what to do with PA to be notified.

So in PA, you are using Post a Message action and if you select your personal channel, It should notify. Are you not getting notified?

When you run the flow does it show any error? Can you upload run cycle picture?

Also can you create a private channel in a public teams and see if it works?

No errors. No warnings. Not sure what you mean by run cycle picture. Created a private channel in a public Team and still doesn't work. In the screen shot I sent above, is it even correct? I don't know what I'm doing with PA.

Can you change Post as property from BOT to user and reconfigure rest properties and test again?

By Run cycle I mean when you run the flow it will show you the output of each action. Can you upload picture of that?

I changed the BOT (see below) and still doesn't work.

Did you execute the flow from SharePoint Library?

Power Automate Community

yes. i'm unable to execute it from Teams.

Open it in SharePoint and then select any item on which you want to run the flow. Then You will see flow listed under power automate section like below... You can run it from there...

I don't have that option

You have it. Click 2nd Value in the dropdown. 'Post a Message to Microsoft Teams for a selected file'.

Thank you. I've never done that. When I run it I get stuck on the below screen shot. If you look at my screen shot above, that's the text I put in as the message to me. The screen below is asking me to enter a message. I don't want to have to do that. It did work which is good. Unfortunately I didn't receive a notification of a new post in my personal workspace chat like I do with the other teams. Was I supposed to?
