Why can flow see only some of my Outlook calendars?

i'm trying to build a flow thats creates meeting times in our teams calendars - using a manual trigger and the outlook create event action i can see SOME of my calendars, mine and one of our shared calendars for the team, but i cannot see others - these others are set up in the same way, i have the very same permissions, yet they arent showing up in the flow drop down box to chose from. why is that?

thanks

Hi @StephenM,

Could you choose a shared calendar from the Calendar id field of "Create event (V1)" action?

Further, do you want to choose other custom calendars within Calendar id field of "Create event (V1)" action?

I have made a test on my side and I could not choose a shared Outlook calendar within Calendar id field of "Create event (V1)" action. The available Outlook Calendars show up as below:13.JPG

I afraid that there is no way to choose a custom calendar within "Create event (V1)" action of Outlook connector in Microsoft Flow currently. If you would like this feature to be added in Microsoft Flow, please submit an idea to Flow Ideas Forum:

https://powerusers.microsoft.com/t5/Flow-Ideas/idb-p/FlowIdeas

In addition, you could consider take a try to get all available Outlook calendars with the "Get calendars" action:14.JPG

Best reagrds,

Kris

Is this still an issue? I was able to do it before by giving permission to the calendar and afterwards accepting the email that was send to the recipient. However this doesn't seem to work anymore?

I am seeing similar behavior, even these years later. Under some circumstances, a Shared Calendar will appear in Flow (and Graph) as one of "My Calendars" but under other circumstances it will not. Can anyone help clarify what those conditions are? How is Graph/Flow making the determination of "My Calendars" that causes it to show a potentially different set from what we see in Outlook?

Same issue here, 7 shared (room) calendars visible, 1 not. Checked every setting I can find and the 1 looks identical to the 7, but won't appear in the flow dropdown no matter what I do.

All these years later I'm going to add a note because I ran into the issue of having calendars missing from the drop down options in a flow I was creating. I haven't found any other explanation or fix online. However, the problem seems to be that there is a limit on the number of calendars that will display in Flow (10). I noticed that my calendars were appearing in Flow in the same order I have them in Outlook. When I deleted a couple of calendars from the top of the list in Outlook and refreshed the page in Flow two more calendars from the bottom of my list appeared as options. I managed to get access to the calendars I need by deleting holiday calendars that I can easily reconnect to. This would be a bigger problem for anyone who has a long list of calendars and wants to access all of them in Flow.

Another year down the line I'm also experiencing this issue.
The strangest part is that the connection for the Get-Calendars v2 is not being used.
When I run the flow, it uses the correct connection, however when anyone else runs the flow, the connection is not used. I've shared the flow with all the users and the connection is linked. However when I tested this with a user that had the same calendar access with all the correct calendars in their "My Calendars" in outlook, Only a few of the calendars showed in the output of Get calendars v2.

You are able to access the last 10 calendars that you added to your Outlook. So you might lose a working connection when you add new calendars to your outlook.

It's insane that

a) code like this passes the code review

b) code like this does not get fixed since six(!) years

It's called Power Automate, yet it's so fragile it's hard to rely on it.
