Writing Outlook Email Attachments to SharePoint Document Library Fails

I have looked at several videos on creating a flow that take the attachments from an incoming email and writes them to a document library.  I have done this several times and I always only write a file : smime.p7m to my library.

Additionally I tried the template to do the same and it too only writes out:  smime.p7m to the library.

Library looks like the following:

No clue here. It looks like the action Create File is failing miserably.

Please advise.

Is the File content you are using the attachments Content Bytes?  If so then you are missing something.  The file content should include both the contentBytes and the Content type.

  "Content": {
    "$content-type": @{items('Apply_to_each')?['contentType']},
    "$content": @{items('Apply_to_each')?['contentBytes']}
  }

When I hover over the File Contents parameter of the Create file action, this is what I see:

I don't see anything like your "Content" ... structure.  If it's there, I don't know where to find it.

That's my point.  You have two options.  One is to build the structure I had in my previous post using the ContentBytes and ContentType values that you should already have.  The other is to use the Get Attachment Content action just prior to your Create file.  That will retrieve the Content structure from the email. Its not included in the dynamic content by default.  But you have to have both the Content Type and Content Bytes for the file to be valid.

I'm not disagreeing, however, that exact set of actions was lifted by tutorials and also from a Microsoft template. So what I'm missing is from tutorial and template. I tried this and do not see any of the JSON you posted and still not working.  Here is the flow:

Also, I only see a Get Attachment Content Action for SharePoint and it wants to look at attachments on list items.

I am obviously trying to get the attachment(s) from an email...

I tried a variation.  It's strange how the dynamic options change for an action depending on not only the action but previous action.  Until I added a bogus condition before the get attachments and the create file actions, i did not have the property "Name" available for the attachments (although it didn't help).  Here is my latest "attempt":

That's one of the problems with the templates.  As details change templates that used to work don't work anymore as actions are updated.  In the screenshot above you are using an outlook Get attachment action.  But did you change what you are loading into the file content to be the output from the Get attachment action?

Initially, as per the tutorials and Microsoft Template (separate attempts on my part), there was no Get Attachments action in the flow.  I "thought" that the When a new email arrives (v3) occurred and I specified to include attachments and only attachment emails, that that was why there was no get as that event pulled the attachments.  Anyway, when that did not write out the attachments I posted here about it and as suggested I added the Get Attachments Action. Both the file name and the file content come from the Get Attachments Action.
