Hi....

I have a template load in the docusign client with fields on it.   I want to populate fields with data from a sharepoint list, create an envelope and email it out for signature.  The data changes for each customer.  

I am able to connect to the docusign connector however there are only two fields that show up, the signer and their email

We want to populate the fields with 

Utility Name

Account Number

Address...et etc.etc.etc.

This is all that pops up when I start to build my flows.  Wondering how to get the other fields to show up so that i can populate them with data from a sharepoint list.

insert a Get Items action prior to your docusign action in the flow.  Use that to filter the SharePoint list to get the record you need for the data.  Since it will return as a collection you will need to use a first() function to isolate the first record in an object variable so that you can get the values you need.

Thanks so much for replying....  but the issue is the reverse.  I can get the data from the sharepoint list.... the problem I am having is to insert that data into the docusign template.

I was hoping that the custom fields in the docusign template would show up so that I can populate the fields from data in the list.  does anyone now if custom docusign fields can be access by flow?

Sorry, I thought you were asking about the empty fields in the display, like Client Name etc. I don't think the connector is designed to pick up and display the custom fields from a DocuSign template.  So I'm not sure there is any way to populate them.

Hi, we wound up using a third party app called "formstack" to receive the data from the list and generate a pdf file that was sent to the docusign connector.

I believe you have to use a DocuSign developer account to sign in to that connector.

I was looking into the Document Generation Form Fields which i believe will be the best method to prepopulate data from the records in Dataverse.

But would mean recreating the document my client uses. As you have to create a word document using the DocuSign Template Assistant  Use the DocuSign Template Assistant to create files for document generation actions

 So this is in the document itself. rather than the "yellow" template/envelope fields
