Hello good
I have a problem that I don't know how to solve. I attach an image of my flow
To put you in context, in my work emails are sent where in the subject we put a 5-digit project number, and that code can be anywhere in the subject:
23001 architectural plans
23001- architectural plans
23001_architecture plans
RE: 23001 architectural plans
RE: RE: 23001 architectural plans
I want that, when I receive an email, take the 5-digit project code of the subject and move that email to a folder in the mailbox that is called like that project code (attached image of email folders)
Solved! Go to Solution.
Hi @cesquiu ,
Based on your description, you want to extract the number in the subject of the message in an indeterminate position.
Here is a solution for your reference:
Expression in Compose:
split(triggerOutputs()?['body/subject'],' ')
Best regards,
Rimmon
Thank you very much for the quick response!
but it does not work 😞
I have sent an email with subject "re 23001 dsfsdf ds fsd"
In compose, in Outputs:
[
"re",
"23001",
"dsfsdf",
"ds",
"fsd",
""
]
In Filter array I have put From: Outputs, isInt(item()) is equal to True, but here in Outputs nothing comes out, it comes out blank, so compose 2 no longer does anything, and the route to send the email it is blank.

You can use a regex search query to identify 5 digits even if the space before after is missing.
Use Encodian's Utility - Search Text (Regex) action.
Just ask chatGPT for the regex expression to return 5 digits / give it an example and it gives following regex expression:
\d{5}
The output is then 23001
FYI - Encodian Utility action (one of the 150+ actions prefixed with "Utility") only use 0.05 Encodian credits. So 500 Encodian credits can use 10,000 Utility action runs.
Hi @cesquiu ,
It seems that there is no error with your expression.
Based on your previous reply, are you using True not true?
If so, please use true.
I have set it both ways, True and true, and it doesn't work.
I am attaching screenshots of both the configurations and the results of the executions so you can see how it looks and how it works.
It fails in the root filter step, and the output is null, so then compose 2 does not do it and does not form the mail route to be able to move it to the corresponding route
Thank you!!! but we don't want to use a payment solution...we receive around 600 emails between all of us, every day
but thank you very much for your response
Perfect! That was it! Thank you so much!
Now it only fails when sending the email. One day I tried to move that email to folder 23001, directly by hand, and it did, I don't know why it doesn't move it now, it says that the path is incorrect... I don't know if I have to concatenate the path entire Projects23-->23001
I'll send you an image of the configuration, the execution that gives an error, and the Outlook folders
I reiterate my thanks
now it would be
I created before Move Mail, a variable called "path" which is concat('projects23/',outputs('Compose_2'))
and I pass it to Move Mail and it works correctly
2 million thanks for your help
Sorry, one last question...how can I evaluate the result of the Move Mail action so that if it is correct, it does something to me, and if it is incorrect, it sends me an email to say that something has gone wrong?
