Hi,
I've ran into a problem when trying to send a no-reply mail via "Send an HTTP request to SharePoint".
The mail is send correctly, but not all my "To" recipients are included in the mail.
The "Purchase" & "Info" mail adresses aren't included in the mail which is sent to everybody.
below are pictures of the flow and the mail which is sent.
Does anybody have a solution for this?
Thanks in advance!
Hi @Bobron,
Are the ones which don't work external or internal email addresses?
Btw, in the past I have used the syntax below for the To and CC fields. In those examples I always included the results property in the json.
Can you try something like below (with verbose Headers) and see if that makes a difference?
Change my example To and CC email addresses to your values
{
"properties":
{"__metadata": {"type":"SP.Utilities.EmailProperties"},
"From":"",
"To": {"results":["jane@contoso.onmicrosoft.com","purchase@contoso.onmicrosoft.com"]},
"CC": {"results":["john@contoso.onmicrosoft.com","info@contoso.onmicrosoft.com"]},
"Body":"Test Body",
"Subject":"Hello World"
}
}
Hi @Expiscornovus,
Thanks for your suggestion, but unfortunately it still doesn't work.
The situation is like this (example):
mail address 1: @gmail.com (Main company mail address)
mail address 2: @live.nl
Person1@####.nl -> mail sent
Purchase@####.nl -> mail not sent
Info@####.nl -> mail not sent
Person3@####.com -> mail sent
Person4@####.com -> mail sent
The adresses haven't been sent are indeed external email addresses, but still in our holding. I can add those email addresses to a sharepoint team within our organisation.
Hi @Bobron,
Back in the SharePoint days it was a limitation to use this specific method for sending to external users:
A workaround would be to use another type of email action, which does support this. However, you probably have chosen this approach for a specific requirement?
Hi @Expiscornovus,
Thanks for the explanation.
The reason I've chosen this approach is because of the "From" mail address, which is: "no-reply"
Before I just used the normal "Send mail" action, but my supervisor wanted it being sent from a "no-reply".
Do you maybe know another way to send a "no-reply" mail from sharepoint to external users?
Facing the same problem. "Send http request to SharePoint" does not include external emails and I tried all variations in Json syntax.
Please if any of the best guys can provide a workaround. Note that using the action "Send http request to SharePoint" is required

Thanks for including me, I have no infulence in the PA arena but I would agree a NOREPLY option would be useful to have. But I think all we have is shared and standard email accounts to use. So I understand why you want to do what you want to do.
If the email did come from a NOREPLY@company.com, then you should be able to make contact with a company some other way via a general info address or contact form on the website. But i have had severla instances where some companies make it so hard to make contact with them. Thay even do not respond to LinkedIn messages.
Regards,
Andrew
I'd simply create a mailbox for the "no-reply" account and then at your mail gateway block inbound messages to it, or set up a mailbox rule to delete anything that arrives, or make a flow that triggers when a message is sent to that mailbox and deletes the message.
Then you have access to the From field via Send As in the Send an Email action like normal.
