2 Data Sources in Gallery

Hi,

i have an issue where i am trying to get 2 different data sources in a gallery, i need the labels in gallery to refer to 1 data source and the icons to be linked to a different data source, they are both sharepoint lists

1 data source which is teh lable is QHSE Data Source and the icons need to refer to a data source call QHSE Audit App

This is how it currently looks for gallery items but cant seem to work out how to add qhse audit app data source into the formula

Description in ComboBox1.SelectedItems.Result ||
Title = Dropdown5.Selected.Result || Dropdown5.Selected.Result="All"),Title)

What is the relationship (common field values) between the lists - you need a collection using AddColumns() merging the lists.

i was thinking of the collection but wasnt sure how to join it,

Unfortunately there are common fields. Would the collection using add columns still work if thats the case?

Hi @kORINNERB ,

Do you mean there are no common fields? If so, you cannot join them or do what you are trying in a single gallery as the filter has to relate to a record value.

Ok, thanks, maybe i can create the additional fields i need  for the icons in the first data source in the gallery and patch to 2 data sources? the main sharepoint list  that  i am currently patching to and the one i am using in the gallery.

HI @kORINNERB ,

You need at least one field (do not give them the same name) with common values to "link" the lists. If you do this. you can add columns from one list to a collection from the other (with fields from the related records)
