@Ramole
I am not sure that I follow what you are asking for. Are you trying to GROUPBY two columns instead of just GROUPBY on a single column?

It’s very hard to picture what your collection looks like. Suggest you put some sample data in the post to show what the original collection looks like and what the solution collection should look like

Hi @mdevaney

All i am asking how can i add date field format on top of my currant grouped which is the below format.

Thanks

Search(AddColumns( GroupBy( AddColumns( 'Shipments ', "CompanyText", Company.Value ), "CompanyText", "ShipmentsByCustomer" ), "TotalShipmentFee",Sum(ShipmentsByCustomer, ShippingFee), "Company", Descending ),TextSearchBox1.Text,"CompanyText")

@Ramole
My technique would be to add a column with the new date format and drop the old one. See below.

DropColumns(
AddColumns(

Search(AddColumns( GroupBy( AddColumns( 'Shipments ', "CompanyText", Company.Value ), "CompanyText", "ShipmentsByCustomer" ), "TotalShipmentFee",Sum(ShipmentsByCustomer, ShippingFee), "Company", Descending ),TextSearchBox1.Text,"CompanyText"),

“NewFormatDate”,
Text(your_date_fieldname,”yyyy-mm-dd”)
),
“your_date_fieldname”
)

@Ramole

Sorry, I do not understand what is needed here at all.  You'll have to simplify the question or re-attempt an explanation.  There's alot of code there but I have have no idea what it does.  It would be helpful to provide a sample data table of the starting data and a sample data table of what it should look like after processing.

Hi @mdevaney ,

Let me explain more, i have grouped gallery and is working fine but would like to add date also as my sharepoint list have order date field heres the screen shot of the date now as it showing as a sum  and this is counting as sum as you see the format, just need to know the correct format of the date to use so it will show me the right order date. Thanks

Sum(
ShipmentsByCustomer,
OrderDate

Hi @Ramole ,

Is your column that display as date text type?

If so, if you want to display it as date type, you just need to use Text function.

Try this:

Text(DateValue(fieldname),DateTimeFormat.ShortDate)

Or

Text(DateValue(fieldname),"yyyy/mm/dd")

You could use it in AddColumns directly.

For example:
AddColumns(table,"newdate",Text(DateValue(fieldname),"yyyy/mm/dd"))

Here's a doc about Text function for your reference:

https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/powerapps/maker/canvas-apps/functions/function-text
