Hi,
Thanks in advance to anyone who will be helping 🙂
I need help for an OnSelect function for the Trash Icon (Opens Warning)
This is the warning:
When trash bin icon is selected I need a Visible function to be true for them (see below)
I added a rectangle behind with lowered opacity and yes/no buttons. (More of a lightbox look)
The Yes button delete's the item (it works)
Remove(ItemLocator,LookUp(ItemLocator,ID=Gallery1.Selected.ID));Refresh(ItemLocator);Navigate(MainScreen)
but:
it doesn't refresh/reset the canvass (MainScreen) so the Trash icon gets unselected again so the warning items will disappear it's like a reload page. It only shows this
Also my plan for the NO button it will refresh the canvass (MainScreen)
Thanks again!

Hi johnm
To make a confirmation pop up like that, do the following...
1) Add all those components to a container
2) On the OnVisible property of this container, add a variable that will control true/false (visible/hidden), something like
varConfirmDeletePopUp
3) Add the following to the OnSelect property of the Trash Bin icon
UpdateContext({varConfirmDeletePopUp:true})
This will make the whole container with all the components become visible when the Trash Bin icon is clicked. You can add the following code to the OnSelect property of the "No" button, to make this collection invisible again
UpdateContext({varConfirmDeletePopUp:false})
You can also add the above code to the screen's OnVisible property to ensure this variable gets set to false each time the screen becomes visible (which is the behaviour you want)
Hi johnm_
Sorry I think I'm not following you 100%.
It sounds like you want to add a warning before deleting an item, but also looks like you have that already set up so I'm a little confused.
When the item gets deleted, on which screen will that be? I can see that after deleting the item, you are navigating to the MainScreen, so I' assuming the delete action is on another screen?
You could try to add the Refresh(ItemLocator) statement at the end? So like
Remove(ItemLocator,LookUp(ItemLocator,ID=Gallery1.Selected.ID));Navigate(MainScreen);Refresh(ItemLocator)
Hi @fnanfne
What I want to happen is when someone clicks the trash bin icon the item Rectangle5, button2, button3, button4 will appear (these are the warning items) meaning Visible =True not sure if there's a code for that.
Thanks!
Yes, I set it up but it is till not functional I need help for a code on the Trash Bin icon for OnSelect it will make rectangle5, button2, button3, button4 Visible = True
Then when a user clicks button YES rectangle5, button2, button3, button4 Visible = False after deletion
Here's the code for my YES button
Remove(ItemLocator,LookUp(ItemLocator,ID=Gallery1.Selected.ID));Navigate(MainScreen);Refresh(ItemLocator)

That's what I needed thank you so much!!!! 😉👏👏
I also added this code you provided on the end of the YES button to make the container false when click
UpdateContext({varConfirmDeletePopUp:false})
One more question @fnanfne
Is this like the container name?
varConfirmDeletePopUp
Can I change the value of this like if I have a 2nd warning like when a user exits the app?
Like for example
varConfirmExitPopUp
No the varConfirmDeletePopUp is the name of the variable responsible for showing/hiding the container. Do not call your container the same name, call your container any other random name, but best to keep to some naming convention. If the screen the container resides in is called MainScreen, I would call the container something like MSpopUpContainer.
Yes, you can create more variables for any number of functions or pop-up windows. But do not change the name of the varConfirmDeletePopUp variable, create a new one called varConfirmExitPopUp. Again, let's say this container lives on a screen called ExitScreen for example, I would call the container ESpopUpContainer or something similar.
