Adding attachment/ picture option to the Issue Reporting App

Hello,

According to the webpage on Issue reporting, there is an option to add attachments as shown in the attachment below. However, in the template, there is no options to add one. Does anyone know how to add an attachment function to the Issue reporting app? I have tried adding an attachment button in the "manage issue" app but it does not appear in the "reporting issue" app.

Thank you.

Also having the issue getting it pushed to planner. That is the one thing stopping me from recommending this as our new ticketing system... So unfortunate.

I can get the add photo button to appear and upload the image but just doesn't go to the planner task.

Hi!

Your posts have been most helpful!

I've managed to get the photo section added and added the sharepoint link. However, when i try to test it, and upload a picture to a test report, the report appears in my task list with all the information, but the picture is missing. I cant find the picture anywhere in files on my team either.

Any solution to this?

Hello, I have the same problem as you: I can add an image from the issue report application but it does not appear in planner. I looked in code and photo is only added in a dataverse table named "Issue Report Photos" .

I will try to add it to planner using Flow.

Were you able to solve this issue?

Sorry I didn't have time to do it, and I'm not sure I can do it.

Hello,

I have managed to add the picture option to issue reporting like you showed in the first post. (I am not a developer-just struggling through this to get pictures on issue reporting). It shows the pics now on the issue reporting page, but when you view the app from a phone, it doesnt allow you to take or select a pic from library. Is there something more than turning on the picture option as mentioned in the first post?

See Below:

The "add photos" button appears on the issue reporting screen now, but does not allow picture capture or upload.

Hello Alcyon,

Did you able to solve this issue via flow?

Can you share your solution

Hi,
It's still on my todo list but I don't have time to finish...

By default, Attachments are stored on the team's sharepoint in the documents folder.

You need to set up a flow that runs when a new row is added to the "Issue Report Photos" table.
Then copied the photo to a folder (Create new one by tasks?) on the sharepoint and edit the task to include the link to this information (Resource link) with https://docs.microsoft.com/fr-fr/connectors/planner/#update-task-details .

Finally in broad outline here is how I think to do

Hi,

Here is the content of my flow. You need to create this flow in the application environment.

For the moment it is very simple to explain the operation, but it would be necessary to add checks.

As I am French I have added in note the name of the actions in English.
