1) go to powerapps, insert a "button", then click on "Action" tab and click power automate and then click on "create a new flow" this will open a new window. Then choose the flow with "PowerApps Button and  Custom Action".

2) Find the HTTP action and select the HTTP action. For URI click on the dynamic content and select ask in powerapps and set the other fields as required. Select the request as get and save the flow

3) Now go back to powerapps. From the Power App blade select the newly created flow. and pass the url as a parameter to the flow.

'PowerAppsbutton-2'.Run("https://myblog.com/index.php?category=class1&userid=t123")

Now that i had successfully make a http get request , will you be able to advise me how can i get some data back from the website.

From the website do i echo the result to return back to powerapps ?

Thank you so much

Ofcourse i can help.

So you can simpley echo the output in your url

 in the same flow. After your HTTP request add another action which is called "Respond to  a PowerApp or Flow"

You can set response as text field set the name of the variable and the value ill be the body from the HTTP flow

in your powerapps

Just simple save the flow action in a variable for example

Set(myResult, PowerAppsbutton.Run("https://myblog.com/index.php?tw="&token&"&refno="&refno.Text&"&username="&userinfo))

Then you can access the body of the url with myResult.[the variable name you set in flow]

flow.PNGurl.PNGresponse.PNG

P.S you might need to remove the flow from data source and add again as some time it doesn't recognize the changes made in the flow from input/output perspective.

Thank you so much for your time

I had follow your instruction and created an additional Respond to powerapp or flow ;

inside i have 2 value first one is myresult and 2nd one is response. May i know what is the 2nd one for ?

In the button on select you have this the following ;

Set(myResult, PowerAppsbutton.Run("https://myblog.com/index.php tw="&token&"&refno="&refno.Text&"&username="&userinfo))

But in your screenshot it is

Set(myVar2, PowerAppsbutton.Run("https://myblog.com/index.php tw="&token&"&refno="&refno.Text&"&username="&userinfo))

is your myVar2 a label or textinput ?

If i simply wish to output myresult to a notification can i do this ;

Set(myVar2, PowerAppsbutton.Run("https://myblog.com/index.php tw="&token&"&refno="&refno.Text&"&username="&userinfo));

If(!IsBlank(myresult),Notify(myresult,Information)

Once again, thank you so much you had been so helpful

I had also try following your method for the last part to display the result

I try both using text label with text as myVar2.myresult

and text input with default value as myVar2.myresult but both i am getting name isn't valid this identifier isn't recognised
