Android Power App problem

When I finished a new version on my power app and go to my mobile to test the app the power app not getting the last version I made and saved on my desktop from the first time but opening the last one before modification  even there is a new version.. I must close the power app on my mobile and open it again to show the last version.

* The app were closed on mobile before the modification is done and saved on desktop.

Correct - mobile devices download the app when it is opened to save subsequent loading time and check for newer versions when opening - you will get a message that there is a newer version. When you select this, the app will close, load the latest version and re-open.

I am using the latest version, and saving my app on desktop then publish then opining the mobile app, and the same problem still exist.

No, there is a bug in the app. even there is a published new version.. the mobile app some times asking you to open the new ver. and some times not !!.. and you must close the app ver. " not all the power app" and open again the reach the last ver.

I can explain this problem with a recorded screen video if needed...

I work with about 100 field users - every time I update the app, they get a message that there is a newer version available (in a top bar) and have to tap on it to close the app and load the new version - this has been the case for a number of years and is normal expected behaviour. There are infrequent occasions that this message does not appear for some reason, but when this happens, they have the version they last loaded, not the new one.

This happens because the mobile app actually downloads the app when opened for the first time and then opens this "local" copy, but checks it is the current version while opening.

Is this process what you are referring to?

First of all this problem is happening to me and to all users I share the app with even on the web version, so it is not related to my mobile or any other.

But Im sure that there is a problem makes the new version notification bar when appearing  time then not appearing next 5 or 6 times..

I suspect that when the app checking for the new ver. while opining the old ver. If YES and if the notification bar delayed for a 2 or 3 seconds and the user start using the app and pressing buttons so the bar will never appear in this session, and if the user close the app and reopen it again the app will open the new ver. directly without asking and ignoring the old ver.

In another way the logic says: that the mobile app must check for the new version first before opening any, if yes then app pop up message to the user asking which version he want to open before opening the old one.

Any way and faraway from the bug of " notification bar appearing" and I can proof that, the question is to open the old ver. first and then asking if you wants to open the new ver. if yes close the old and open the new.

or:

check for new ver. first before opening and if exist then ask the user which ver. he want to open if NOT then open the last ver. directly

Sorry, this is not configurable - it is built into the process - if a new version is available, it will be opened.
