Bridging Multiple Power apps into one SharePoint list while also delineating between them

Hello!

Looking to see if anyone would know how to bridge multiple power apps into one SharePoint list while also delineating between them? 

I created a feedback page for my power apps (11 in total) and would like the feedback to be directed to a singular SharePoint List, but with the addition of the creator's name and company (each company has their own site) added into the list as well. 

Is this possible?

Yes, it is absolutely possible to have multiple Power Apps write data to a single SharePoint list.

You can do this by simply pointing all of the apps to the same SharePoint list for their data source.

To differentiate the data from each app or company, you could add additional fields to your SharePoint list to capture this information.

For instance, you could add a "CreatedBy" field and a "Company" field.

In each of your Power Apps, you would then update your formula that submits the data to the SharePoint list to also include the values for these new fields. If you are using a Form control, you could add these fields to your form and set their values appropriately.

For example, you could set the "CreatedBy" field to the name of the logged in user with the User().FullName function, and the "Company" field to the name of the company corresponding to the specific Power App.

When the user submits their feedback, the app would also capture and send the name of the creator and the company to the SharePoint list, allowing you to differentiate between data from different apps and companies.

Here is an example formula for submitting data, if you are using the Patch function to write data to your list:

      {
         ID: yourSelectedItem.ID
         Title: "Your feedback title",
         Feedback: "Your feedback body",
         CreatedBy: User().FullName,
         Company: "Company Name"
      }
)

In this formula, replace 'Your SharePoint List' with the name of your SharePoint list, and replace "Your feedback title" and "Your feedback body" with the actual feedback title and body, which you would typically get from your app controls.

Replace "Company Name" with the actual company name corresponding to each specific app.

Remember to replace the field names (Title, Feedback, CreatedBy, Company) with your actual SharePoint list's field names.
