Can't install PowerApps Studio for Windows

I am unable to install powerapp studio for windows.  I have verified we have powerapp licenses in office 365 and that I have one assigned to me.  I have also verified our office 365 is set to allow users to install store apps.  I am at a loss as to what to do next.

Your issue sounds unrelated to the OPs - he has a specific error code, with a specific meaning.

You have what I call "general Windows Store malaise". Often a wsreset.exe / restart fixes those.

And no, the Store is the only place to get the Windows version of the app. Of course the web version is available without needing the Store at all.

If Windows store works before, then please consider to do a system restore.

For the error message

Things you should to check:

1. Group policy:

Configure Access to Windows Store

Also check your UAC settings,

2. Firewall (or proxy) settings

Make sure there is no restriction configured to block the store from connecting to Microsoft Update server, you might need to take use of some network monitor tool to check the actual address (or TCP/UDP port used by Windows Store ), which is not ducomented.

3. Another thing that may block Windows Store from installing App is the restriction from the Online Server, mostly this should be related with the Region, take a try to switch your region and see if that would make any difference.

For troubleshooting purposes:

1. Try to run the Built-in App troubleshooter,

2. Run wsreset.exe to clear Store cache,

3. re-register windows Store

Open CMD with Amdin rights, then copy and paste the following and press enter:

PowerShell -ExecutionPolicy Unrestricted -Command "& {$manifest = (Get-AppxPackage Microsoft.WindowsStore).InstallLocation + '\AppxManifest.xml' ; Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register $manifest}"

I found the solution.  Below is the link.  We had a group policy for WSUS that does not all download of windows update via the internet.  Once I disabled that I could download Power App studio from the store.

This the part of the post that fixed the issue for me.

Check your GPO and the following setting:

BINGO!

Computer

Windows components\Windows update\Do not connect to any windows update internet locations

Even when Windows Update is configured to receive updates from an intranet update service, it will periodically retrieve information from the public Windows Update service to enable future connections to Windows Update, and other services like Microsoft Update or the Windows Store.

Enabling this policy will disable that functionality, and may cause connection to public services such as the Windows Store to stop working.

Note: This policy applies only when this PC is configured to connect to an intranet update service using the "Specify intranet Microsoft update service location" policy.

Disable that and Windows Store will work for the domain account.

Thanks for all your input.  Greatly appreaciated.

I have yet to try them though for I am busy on the initial phase of the project, the second phase will be UI using powerapps.
