Cannot edit after saving data

Hi,

I have made a form with tabs in powerapps.

Everythinig is working good. When I save the form all data appears in my list in sharepoint.

Now comes the problem, when I want to edit an item all data is gone. Every field in the form with data is blank and I cannot edit that item.

I’ve made various forms with tabs and all on the same way. I compared all the forms I created with powerapps and the properties are the same. However in one form I have that problem.

Can somebody help me and tell me what I did wrong?

Most likely, the Item property of your Form control is set incorrectly (ie, not set to the record that you want to display). This is the first thing that I'd check.

I compared the properties with the one that is working and everything is the same.
Is there a specific property that must be set correctly to shown the data? Wich one is this?

@Nibix - the 2 main properties that need to be set are the 'Data Source' and 'Item' properties.

Every topic that i read refers to these properties but they are correct !

Hi @Nibix 

The most likely thing is that the Item property of your Form control is set incorrectly (ie, not set to the record that you want to display).

This is the area that I suggest that you investigate. What is the Item property and how are you setting it (if it's set to a variable)? To diagnose this, on the screen that contains the form that should display the record, I'd sugest that you add a label and try to access the field values by using the syntax yourItemProperty.yourColumnName.

Check that when you navigate to that screen you are setting Editform(yourform)

I have checked all the properties with the one that is working. All the properties are the same and are like the suggestions you gave here. But still the problem is the same.

Have you checked the defaults on the cards of that specific form?
