Cannot publish a powererapps form to Sharepoint Online

Hello,

I have integrated a powerapps form from a sharepoint library (from the library I chose Intergrate / PowerApps / Customized Forms)

The scope of this form is to replace the "New Document" out-of-the-box functionality for all the document libraries of the specific site collection.

After I finish, I I save the form and then I press "Publish" button on the top right.

The Publish menu appears but when I press "Publish" the menu disappears and nothing happens.

It's not published.

The "Publish" button is still there, active!

I can't see any "File" menu.

The only option that I have is to go back to Sharepoint (from where I have started to integrate the form to PowerApps).

I also updated the List experience to "New" (instead of Defaule) in Library Settings / Advanced Settings which I see that it helped others to resolve this issue.

It didn't help.

I would appreciate your help.

I am also having the same problem, I have spent hours trying to figure it out. Copilot is no help neither. I have literally tried everything I can find in any post but nothing. Almost giving up, the thing is that I used to be able to do it but no its impossible.  The forms are there in the PowerApps, they display in the canvas and on the online version but not on Lists.

Have you tried reloading the page using Shift + F5?  Frequently with Power Apps, it takes a couple of page refreshes for changes to be displayed.  Reloading the page clears out the cache and Shift + F5 will trigger it rather than having to hit the refresh button several times.  As another user mentioned, it can take a few minutes for changes to be visible so do this after a few minutes of waiting.  If you were in the full Power App interface you would see a updates coming indicator and a refresh button.  Within SharePoint, you don't get that.  I hope this helps!

It's not a reloading page issue.

The form that I create in Powerapps is not available from Sharepoint under "New" button menu.

I believe there is another step I'm missing.

I would appreciate if someone who has done that could help.

I'm not sure what you are trying to do will work in the way that you are trying to accomplish it.  Yes, you can integrate a form into a document library, but I believe the form can only be used to modify the details of the document that was added.  So for example, if you upload a document, then look at the details of the document.

Then if you click "edit all"

This is where you'll see your customized form.  To create an interface that allows you to add a document and edit the metadata for the document, you'll want to create a standalone app for that functionality and instead of navigating people to the library you would send them to the app.

The other option you have is to use a SharePoint list as a document library where each item you add allows the user to edit metadata and attachments.  That form would launch when you hit the "New" button like what you are looking for.

If I've answered your question, please hit the accept button to let others know the solution.

I was having the same problem. I think you need to change the list settings before you create the custom form.

This worked for me:

(if you have already created a custom form) In List settings>Form Settings - revert back to default then delete the custom form you have created.

Then in list settings > Advanced Settings change to "New experience" and save.

I did this and when I tried to create the custom form again in Power Apps, I went to publish and used the "Back to SharePoint" button and it updated the form with the changes I'd made

My problem is the following:

I want to have the "New" or "Upload" button in my migrated document library like the classic experence.

Which is, when I press "Upload" then select the file to upload and then edit the document properties.

I could change to classic experience but the list is 57000 rows and I get the error for 5000 rows limit.

Can I change the "Upload" template somehow?

Although, I cannot change the library to a list (and have the New button as I wish) because I don't know how to get the attached document(s).

Had the same problem. In my case the problem was that I established connection with Sharepoint with another form so the properties of connection used the name of a wrong form
