Checkbox in a Gallery wont populate correctly

Hello,  i am having some trouble getting checkboxes in a gallery to populate with the coreect information when i select a new record.  When i select a new record, i clear the colLobData collection and then pull in the new information.  if i look at the collection i can see that it updates with the right data, but the checkboxes do not match.

When i select a record i am toggling varReset to clear the values in the checkboxes, then i clear the collection and finally get new data for the collection.

Set(varReset,true);

Set(varReset,false);

Clear(colLOBData);

Collect(colLOBData,Gallery2.Selected.'LOBs Impacted');

Hi @Frac 

The issue appears to be that you have the CheckBoxes Default set to False. So it won't matter what the real value is, it will always be false, make sure its the value of the Field itself not a strict boolean value.

@FLMike  I removed false from default but my checkboxes are still blank.  i also tried Self.Text in colLOBData but that didnt work either.  is there something else i need to do besides removing the false from default?

Hi @Frac 

I didn't want you to simply remove the False for the Default you have to set it to the Column that is the Boolean in your data

So for instance if I had a yes / no column in SharePoint called "DidYouFly"

I would put ThisItem.DidYouFly or whatever your column name is, otherwise it wont show the right value

@FLMike sorry, i think i left out in my original question that this is linked to a multi select field, and i am putting my values into a collection.

Grr I didn't mean to hit solution.

I am sorry I am no following. You don't bind a CheckBox to a multi-select field, it would never work correctly.

That's why I am asking what is the actual Field, that has the Boolean value, because you have to use that or you need to write Code in the Default to get it work right.

Can you please share sample data for that CheckBox field on the datacard.

@FLMike i'm trying to follow this tutorial https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xUep4uud1BE where the checkboxes are inside a gallery.  it's not a single checkbox that's bound to a field, but a checkbox for each option in the multi select.  values are loaded into a collection to update the checkbox values and to update the record.
